The Half Dream mod allows players and other entities to interact with the seemingly invisible dream world. In it, invisible monsters and structures hide from the waking world. Crossing through the veil is the only way to reveal what is hidden. But be warned, you too (and anything you build) will be imperceptible to the waking world.
Currently, it can only be accessed via skeleton horse or command. To cross the veil and enter the dream world, cross a bridge over a river on the back of a skeleton horse. Your vision will briefly fade to black before awakening to the Dream World.
In technical detail, you must enter a river biome and exit on the other side without touching water while riding the horse. Otherwise, /setdream @p 1 can be used, with /setdream @p 0 being the reverse.
List of features:
- Access to the Dream World, which is covered in a thick blue fog
- The ability to disturb/dream blocks by breaking/placing them in the Dream World, destroying/placing them only for others in the Dream World respectively
- Dream Resin, which is dropped when disturbing blocks. Using it on the location of a disturbed block repairs that block. Only works while in the Dream World.
Currently Inaccessible (without commands):
- Dream Powder. Using it on a block will dream it, making it invisible to non-dream entities. Works in both the real and dream worlds.
- Dream Tree + sapling. Made of "unique" dream blocks that can be harvested and brought back to the real world. Dream trees grow in the Dream World, so they can only be harvested from there.
