Handoff Relay
Handoff Relay is a Minecraft Fabric mod designed for timed, serialised gameplay handoff challenges.
The mod allows a Minecraft world to be passed between players while preserving player progression, timer state, inventory state, and world continuity between sessions.
Handoff Relay supports both:
- singleplayer/world-transfer workflows
- dedicated Fabric server hosted workflows
Core systems include:
- timed gameplay sessions
- reconnect timer continuation
- timer expiry enforcement
- expired player reconnect blocking
- player inventory persistence
- armour/offhand persistence
- ender chest persistence
- XP/health/hunger persistence
- potion/status effect persistence
- location and respawn persistence
- single active-player enforcement
- spectator account allowance
- configurable participant count tracking
- player order tracking (Player 1 of X, Player 2 of X, etc.)
- anti-creative / anti-flight enforcement
- dangerous command abuse blocking
- LAN cheat escalation mitigation
- persistent handoff save tracking
- backup save recovery
- integrity lock protection
The project is intended for:
- serialised gameplay recordings
- challenge runs
- collaborative survival handoff projects
- structured world-transfer events
- hosted sequential multiplayer experiences
Current project state: Stable public release (v1.0.0).
Notes: Handoff Relay is designed to preserve fair serialised gameplay progression between participants. Administrative filesystem tampering or deliberate world file modification is outside standard gameplay expectations and may affect continuity.
