Head Above XP
Head Above XP is a lightweight client-side Minecraft mod that displays your own player head directly above the XP level in the vanilla HUD.
Designed to be clean, minimal, and unobtrusive, it adds a small representation of your current Minecraft skin while keeping the original HUD layout intact.
Features
- Displays your current Minecraft skin as a player head
- Keeps the head centered above the XP level
- Clean, vanilla-style pixel rendering
- Does not modify the locator bar
- Does not move the vanilla held-item name
- Lightweight and client-side
- Works with custom Minecraft skins
- Designed to work alongside resource packs and visual mods
Client-Side
Head Above XP is a client-side-only mod.
It does not need to be installed on a server. Other players do not need the mod installed to play with you.
Compatibility
Designed for:
- Minecraft 1.21.11
- Fabric
- Fabric API
It can be used alongside other client-side mods, resource packs, and shader packs.
Performance
Head Above XP is designed to have a minimal performance impact.
It simply renders a small player-head texture as part of the HUD and does not add entities, world calculations, or background processes.
Configuration
The HUD position is carefully aligned with the vanilla XP display.
The player head is positioned so it does not interfere with the XP level or the vanilla held-item name.
