Heart Animation Customizer
Take back control of your hearts. This mod lets you individually toggle every heart animation Minecraft does to you — the bounce when you heal, the shake when you're low, and the flash when you take damage — all from a simple in-game config screen, no editing files required.
Features
- 🫀 Master switch — turn the whole mod on or off in one click
- ✨ Disable Heart Flashing — stop hearts flashing white on fresh damage
- 📳 Disable Low Health Shaking — stop hearts jittering around when you're down to your last couple of hearts
- 💗 Disable Heal Bounce — stop the regenerating heart popping upward when you eat a golden apple, use natural regen, or heal any other way
- 🔧 Every option is independent — mix and match whichever animations bother you and keep the rest
Configuration
Open Mod Menu → Heart Animation Customizer → Config to toggle any combination of the options above. Settings save automatically and persist between sessions.
Requirements
- Fabric API — required
- Mod Menu — required, provides the config screen
- Cloth Config — required, powers the config screen UI
This is a client-side only mod — it doesn't need to be installed on a server, and installing it won't affect other players or get you kicked from servers that don't have it.
Compatibility
This mod is lightweight and touches only heart-rendering code, so it's compatible with the vast majority of other client mods. If you're also running another mod that changes heart/HUD rendering (health bar overlays, other "no shake" mods, etc.), you may see one animation override the other rather than a conflict — if you hit an actual crash, please report it with your mod list and a link to your latest.log.
Versions
Available for both the classic 1.21.x version line and the newer year-based
26.x releases — grab the file that matches your game version.
