This mod's idea came from a typo a friend made back in school. Back then we jokingly planned to make it a mod. Took me a few years, but now I've started actually creating the mod to start learning minecraft modding.

The mod adds:

features

  • Helg shard

    • can be crafted into an ingot as shown in the gallery

  • Helg ingot

    • can be used to craft into a set of armor or a block

  • Helgerite armor set

    • an armor tier between iron and diamond

  • Helg Block

    • requires a diamond shovel to be mined

  • Helg ore

    • can be found around sunflowers and needs an iron shovel to be mined

  • Helgerite entity

    • a flying entity which spawns in swamps
    • can be temped by holding a Helg block

Known issues

  • Helgerites quickly lose interest when temped
  • Helgerite armor can't be enchanted in the enchanting table
  • Helgerite armor can be enchanted with any enchantment with an anvil
