This is a significant update to Highspeed Rail:
-
It adds support for the new experimental minecart physics.
-
The 'minecartMaxSpeed' gamerule can now effectively be set on a per-block basis.
-
Arbitrary minecartMaxSpeeds can be set (higher than the vanilla maximum of 1000). Use with caution.
-
Acceleration and deceleration values can also be tweaked (new physics only).
-
The new physics can be force-enabled in old and non-experimental worlds via a config setting.
-
The speedometer is supported (and accurate) with the new physics.
-
A lot of new configuration options have been added and changed, though compatibility has been maintained with older config files. See the new default config file here: https://github.com/pcal43/highspeed-rail/blob/main/src/main/resources/net/pcal/highspeed/default-config.json5
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
