Technical Changes
Technical Changes
- Recipes and their advancements now mostly use datagen. This shouldn't change anything, but you may notice recipes you previously had are now missing.
- Wisp Willow Vines now hide inner faces.
- Blossie Boar eating sound is now its own sound event.
- Vallenite Armor clanking is now its own sound event.
- Changed the way the Air Control attribute is handled. Its internal name was changed, and it now uses more pleasant numbers. This fixes a bug where Vallenite Armor would show as granting 0.02 air control instead of 1 when certain other mods were installed.
- Drifting modifiers can be applied to permanently set an entity's Drifting level, or prevent it from going under a certain amount. Currently only used by the Fairweather Amulet.
- Changed the way that movement speed is calculated while under the effects of Drifting. This should help it not feel so ridiculously sluggish, and to synergize better with mobility buffs.
- Meteors now attempt to procedurally recognize the owners of attacking tamed or summoned entities. This feels quite inconsistent at the moment, but I'm planning on revamping Meteors soon anyway, so I'll revisit this then.
- The size of Meteors can be pushed beyond 3 using the Power Levels config option. It can reach a maximum of 5 (which is absolutely busted in practice), so long as you've defined that many power levels.
- Compressed some sounds in a desperate attempt to reduce file size. This has the added benefit of not spamming your log with "failed to allocate memory" errors from the sound system.
- Added a contingency measure to deny other mods from adding spawns or features to the Stratos without first adding those entity types or feature types to a whitelist. Since biome modifiers tend to be too permissive, or used carelessly, things from other mods often ended up spawning in the Stratos. My solution is far from perfect and I'm not happy with it, but I consider it to be worthwhile to maintain the Stratos' balance and aesthetics. If you want something to appear in the Stratos, add it to the <entity_type or worldgen/placed_feature>/stratos_allowed tag.
- Added Thunder Fir chest variants.
- Improved the inner workings of HITC worldgen features (particularly surrounding configuration).
- All commands have been consolidated into one (/hitc).
- Removed Stratos Iron Ore & Stratos mushrooms from some tags, as they caused recipe conflicts.
- Fixed a bad subtitle for Celestial Respawn Anchors.
- Fixed references to client classes in serverside code.

- Celestizens will now try to stay closer to their Meteorite while fighting.

- Retextured Gabbro and Peridotite.
- Compressed many sounds. While this would have resulted in a 40-ish% decrease in file size, it was balanced out and exceeded by the new music (which I also compressed). :I
