First You're Going To Need To Craft The Moisting Table & put a Copper Block Of Your Choice note:some blocks may not work,The Moisting Table MUST be in any of these Biomes:[bamboo jungle,sparse jungle,sawmp,mangrove swamp,stony peaks,forest,Dark forest,flower forest] All give 1 point On The Copper,To Know How Many Points Are On Your Copper right click The Moisting Table Remember,That The copper MUST be able to see the sun if you're using this method

but if your in a different biome theres a solution too,Put a Spore Blossom Anywhere In a 6x6 Area To Moisturize The Copper Note That This method Doesn't Require The Copper To See The Sun But At A Cost Of Only Adding 0.5 To The Oxidation Process

When The Counter Reaches 6000 5 IRL Minutes or 10 if you're Using Spore Blossoms It Will Progress 1 Stage Into The Oxidation ex copper > exposed copper > weatherd copper > oxidised copper
