Hunter's Log
A living record of every creature you've faced in the Overworld.
Hunter's Log turns your personal hunting history into a real illustrated book — who you've met, what you've killed, and how well you've done it, all read straight from your own game data.
What's inside
Bestiary
Every creature in the Overworld, tracked as a checklist. Meet a mob once and it's marked as encountered; kill count updates live, pulled directly from your own in-game statistics — not a separate tally that can drift out of sync. Each entry includes a 3D preview and a first-person note written from the hunter's own perspective, unlocked the moment you actually see that creature for the first time.
My Records
Five records built from nothing but your own kill statistics, checked once a minute:
- Best Minute — your biggest kill spike in a single minute
- Hot Streak — longest run of minutes with at least one kill
- Cold Streak — longest run of minutes without one
- Variety — most different species killed inside one minute
- Comeback — your best minute right after 10+ minutes of nothing
Why it's different
- Works everywhere. Because everything is read from your own vanilla statistics rather than tracked through combat events, Hunter's Log works identically in singleplayer, on your own server, or on someone else's server that's never heard of this mod.
- Nothing to fake. No manual logging, no honor system — every number comes from data the game itself already keeps.
- Written, not generated. Every first-encounter note is hand-written in the voice of the hunter holding the book, not a stat dump.
- Six languages, interface-wide.
- Three paper themes — Parchment, Sepia, and Slate.
