I Think You Mean...
Starting with Minecraft 26.1, releases have been named based on when they came out, rather than incrementing numbers for an arbitrary "major update". This is a far better naming scheme for the 1.21+ era of game drops, but many (at least two) people have had the thought "What if this was how the game was versioned to begin with?"
This mod changes the version number seen in the title screen and title bar to what it would've been had the game been following calver to begin with.
All release versions of the game since 1.14 are supported - that's when Fabric started and when Mojang began providing obfuscation mappings. No snapshots, pre-releases, or release candidates, that'd just be confusing and too much work for a one-off project.

Great thanks to willbl's I think you mean..., which inspired this project. Code implementation is based on Onedot, a CC0 mod that does the exact opposite of this mod.
