IAF Hunter’s Spyglass

IAF Hunter’s Spyglass is addon for Ice and Fire Community Edition that adds dragon-hunting spyglasses built for tracking fire, ice, and lightning dragons in a more interactive way. Instead of giving you exact coordinates or a simple compass pointer, the Hunter’s Spyglass rewards actually scanning the world. Hold right-click like a normal spyglass and sweep across mountains, caves, forests, skies, and dragon territory. If a dragon is inside your view cone, the spyglass reveals a colored trace signal with particles and action bar feedback.

How It Works

Hold right-click with a Hunter’s Spyglass to zoom and scan the direction you are looking. The spyglass checks a cone in front of the player instead of searching everywhere at once. If a dragon is detected, you will see a trace message such as a faint fire trace, strong frost trace, or overwhelming lightning trace. Better aim and shorter distance create stronger signals. If you aim almost directly at the dragon, it briefly glows and the spyglass plays a lock-on sound. The basic spyglass detects all dragon types at shorter range. Elemental lenses specialize in one dragon type and have better range. The Ancient Hunter’s Spyglass detects all dragon types at the longest range.

Hunter’s Table
