Content & Systems
- Added a new artiface mob, artifaces are similar to mortars & scale with ore tiers
- Artifaces are mechanical zombies that have increased vertical knockback & Knockback piercing all scaling with level. Artifaces also have a charging attack, to where they will enter a flight mode and preform a dash, dealing 1.2X damage and additional knockback.
- Added an airstrike resonator, airstrike resonators can be crafted using a new redstone cell item & redstone chips.
- Using an airstrike resonator will call down an airstrike at the area you are looking at after a windup & delay. And then once the airstrike is fully active it will then rain down high damage missles, denying the area and dealing damage to anything caught within it
QOL / Balancing
- Mortar warning SFX / VFX now play on the mortar instead of the player
- Buffed cherry bomb to 7 base damage
- Reduced nether mechanical mob spawns, & removed the light check for nether mechanical mob spawns. This should reduce flooding in low light areas & make them more common in general
Content
- Added landmines
- Landmines come in tiers from copper and netherite
- Landmines can be placed and then right clicked in order to be set
- Stepping on a set landmine will trigger a short warning ping and then explode, with 5 explosion power at netherite tier
- A set landmine can be triggered by redstone changes or block updates, Allowing landmines to be chain triggered
- If you want to remove a set landmine, you can sneak and mine it away
- Added golden mortars, They can spawn in the nether or overworld underground
Balancing
- Buffed cherry bomb damage to 6->6.5
- Increased ore droprate for netherite mortars and diamond mortars, they should be gaurenteed
- Mortars now have new spawning mechanics, allowing them to spawn all the way down to bedrock, As previously they only copied the ore generation
- This should mean that more varieties of mortars will spawn deeper underground instead of in an ore triangle, This will apply to all future mechanical mobs
- Changed license to ARR
Content
- Added new barrel bomb
- Barrel bombs wont trigger chain explosives and have a smaller explosion radius as well as a quicker fuse
- Barrel bombs can be kicked once lit to deal impact damage and lessen the fuse
- Added new cherry bomb
- Cherry bombs are smaller handheld versions of fireworks and can be thrown for visual appeal or small AOE damage
Balancing
- All handheld explosives can now be stacked to 32 and have slightly more thrown power
- Added +1 explosive damage to demolitionist visor to make it more useful overall outside of thrown explosives
- Mortars no longer can see through walls
New items
- Added " Demolitionist Visor. Crafting this visor and wearing it will allow you to throw bombs faster.
- Added a new redstone chip item, this is made using 4 gold, 4 redstone and a redstone block.
- This is currently used in the Visor recipe and in the future will be used for future explosives and items in a nearby content update. Bugfixes
- Fixed a bug where charging a bomb and then swapping to a different item would store a charge and allow you to instantly throw the bomb
- Added a new mob type, " Mortars "
- Mortars are a mechanical blaze that fires explosives at the player.
- Each mortar drops the ore of there respective type, and it should make leftover ores more obtainable for certain tiers of bombs and future explosives
- Added two new gamerules
- /Gamerule BombTappingDelay ^ This will change how long bombs take to explode within a chest
- /Gamerule DoMortarSpawning ^ This gamerule will enable and disable mortar spawns
