Mod Core Functionality This mod provides a high-performance solution for region copying and pasting based on Minecraft's native chunks. Unlike traditional tools (e.g., WorldEdit) that process blocks one by one, this mod directly manipulates chunk data. This allows for nearly instantaneous large-scale scene replication and resetting. Even vast areas spanning hundreds of chunks can be processed in an extremely short time, with virtually no in-game lag.
Key Advantages Extreme Performance: Both copy and paste operations complete at millisecond speeds. Resetting a 20x20 chunk area (i.e., 400 chunks) takes less than 1 second.
Lag-Free Experience: Completely eliminates the severe performance issues and server lag caused by excessive block iteration in traditional tools when handling large selections.
Ideal Use Cases: Perfectly suited for scenarios requiring frequent map resets, such as PVP maps, minigame servers, build testing, or rapid restoration of any destructible terrain. Its efficiency far surpasses reloading worlds or using schematic files.
Limitations To achieve its extreme speed, this mod makes certain trade-offs in flexibility:
Fixed Y-Axis: It is not possible to apply any vertical (Y-axis) offset. Copied chunks will always retain their original elevation.
XZ-Axis Alignment: The starting point of the paste area must be an integer multiple of the source area's chunk offset. In other words, fine-grained movement that isn't a multiple of 16 blocks (the side length of a chunk) is not possible on the horizontal (XZ-axis).
Command Details
1. Copy
/chunks copy <x1> <z1> <x2> <z2>
Purpose: Selects and copies a rectangular region defined by two diagonal chunk coordinates.
<x1> <z1> and <x2> <z2>: Respectively, the chunk coordinates of any two opposite corners of the rectangular selection.
All coordinate values must be integers.
The Y-axis range automatically includes all blocks from the world's bottommost point to the maximum build height, and cannot be manually specified or changed.
2. Paste
/chunks paste <x3> <z3>
Purpose: Pastes the previously copied chunk data to a new location.
<x3> <z3>: The chunk coordinates of the northwest corner of the target area (i.e., the corner with the smallest X and Z coordinate values). This positioning logic is similar to the vanilla /clone command, making it intuitive for users.
How to Get Chunk Coordinates? Method One (Debug Screen): Press F3 to open the debug screen. On the left side of the screen, look for the "Chunk" line to see your current chunk coordinates in real-time.
Method Two (Command Autocomplete): In the chat window, type /chunks copy and then press Space. The game will automatically suggest your current chunk coordinates, making quick selections easy.
Method Three (Chunk Borders): Press F3 + G to display chunk border lines, which helps you visualize and plan your selections more accurately.

使用限制 为了实现极致的速度,本模组在灵活性上做出了一定取舍:
Y轴固定: 无法在垂直(Y轴)方向上进行任何偏移。复制的区块将始终保持其原始的海拔高度。
XZ轴对齐: 粘贴区域的起始点必须是源区域的整数倍区块偏移。换言之,无法在水平(XZ轴)方向上进行非16倍数(即一个区块的边长)的精细移动。
指令详解
1. 复制 (Copy)
/chunks copy <x1> <z1> <x2> <z2>
作用: 选定并复制一个由两个斜对角区块坐标定义的矩形区域。
<x1> <z1> 和 <x2> <z2>: 分别是矩形选区任意两个对角的区块坐标。
所有坐标值都必须是整数。
Y轴范围会自动包含从世界最底部到最高构建上限的所有方块,无需也无法手动指定。
2. 粘贴 (Paste)
/chunks paste <x3> <z3>
作用: 将已复制的区块数据粘贴到新的位置。
<x3> <z3>: 目标区域的西北角(即 X 和 Z 坐标值最小的那个角落)所在的区块坐标。这个定位逻辑与原版的 /clone 指令类似,易于理解和定位。
如何获取区块坐标? 方法一 (调试界面): 按下 F3 键打开调试界面,在屏幕左侧的 "Chunk" 一行可以实时查看你当前所在的区块坐标。
方法二 (指令提示): 在聊天框输入 /chunks copy 然后按一下空格,游戏会自动为你补全当前所在区块的坐标,方便快速选取。
方法三 (区块边界): 按下 F3 + G 可以显示区块的边界线,帮助你更直观地进行规划和选择。
