Details
Players craft the initial tier using standard materials like gold, iron, stone bricks, combined with unique drops called Mob Souls which are earned after every 50 mob kills(e.g. After 50 slime kills you gain a Slime Soul). These Mob Souls are essential for upgrading the pedestals to higher tiers, where more valuable resources like diamonds and netherite are required.
In the mod, each Mob Pedestal is categorized into three tiers, each offering an increasing radius of protection against mob spawns:
-
Lesser Pedestal: Provides a protection radius of 24 blocks.
-
Greater Pedestal: Provides a protection radius of 64 blocks.
-
Supreme Pedestal: Provides a protection radius of 128 blocks.
Redstone Functionality (V1.2.1)
The Mob Pedestal is designed to interact with redstone signals, providing players with additional control.
- Power Level Handling:
-
When the pedestal receives a redstone power level of 15, it automatically turns off.
-
If the pedestal receives a redstone power level between 1 and 14, it will turn on.
-
- Manual Toggle:
-
Players can also manually toggle the pedestal's state by right-clicking it, allowing for versatile control over the pedestal's activation without solely relying on redstone.
