CHANGELOG (2026-08-29-02:13:06):
New in 1.16.5-6.0.5
- Added: Teleport server option dropdown (None, All, Ops, Waypoint Only, Global Only) replacing the teleport checkboxes.
- Added: Separate minimum and maximum display distance options for other players' head waypoints.
- Added: Server option to stop Ops from seeing players who disabled "Visible to Others".
- Changed: Waypoint and group settings colors moved into their own Color Settings popup.
- Changed: Waypoint editor group dropdown shows longer group names and uses the waypoint manager's group sorting.
- Fixed: Popups not working in waypoint manager.
- Fixed: World generation crash with mods that register custom fluids on Forge.
- Fixed: Import world not including a singleplayer world's waypoints and player settings.
- Fixed: Unable to switch dimensions in waypoint manager when "Open in dimension" option is selected.
- Fixed: Fullscreen map right-click menu offered Edit and Remove on global waypoints to players without permission to modify them.
- Fixed: Waypoint editor group dropdown overlapped the buttons next to it after creating a group.
- Fixed: Reduced lag spikes and memory use from the background chunk cache re-writing unchanged chunks to disk.
- Fixed: Bulk waypoint enable/disable reverting after dimension change or relog on servers with server-managed waypoints.
IMPORTANT
- Addons built for 5.9 or 5.10 will not load or work with journeymap 6.0.0
- Addon devs will need to update their plugins to support journeymap-api-2.0.0
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
