Ketchup's All-in-one Tool
Why does this mod exist?
The story is actually pretty simple. One day I was peacefully mining in a tunnel. You know that feeling when your gamer instincts tell you that diamonds are definitely just a few blocks ahead? (Absolutely not x-ray, trust.) So there I was, happily digging forward with my pickaxe. Then suddenly— BAM. A giant wall of gravel appeared out of nowhere. For about 0.01 seconds I considered my options. Then I remembered I had none. So I switched to a shovel, cleared the gravel, switched back to my pickaxe, and continued mining. A few blocks later... I found a layer of clay. Behind the gravel. Deep underground. For reasons only known to Mojang. At this point I wasn't mining anymore. I was participating in some sort of geological prank. So I switched back to my shovel. Again. Then back to my pickaxe. Again. And this exact scenario kept happening over and over and over again.
I don't hate Mojang's world generation. I just hate the fact that Steve somehow carries entire mountains in his pockets but still only gets nine hotbar slots. Then I had a thought. What if... I simply stopped switching tools? My tiny peanut-sized brain spent several hours trying to solve this impossible problem. Eventually I looked at my sword. Then my pickaxe. Then my axe. Then my shovel. Then my hoe. And thought: "What if you idiots just stayed together?" And thus, AIOT was born. No tools were harmed during the development of this mod.
What does it do?
AIOT stands for All In One Tool. It's simultaneously a:
- Sword
- Pickaxe
- Axe
- Shovel
- Hoe
In other words: If a vanilla tool can do it, AIOT can probably do it too. No more switching to a shovel for gravel. No more switching to an axe for logs. No more discovering that your food got moved because your hotbar is full of tools. Just hold left click and continue your journey toward whatever bad decisions await you deeper underground.
Right-Click Shenanigans
Mining isn't the only thing it does. AIOT also supports most vanilla tool interactions:
- Stripping logs
- Scraping oxidation from copper
- Removing wax from copper
- Creating dirt paths
- Tilling farmland
- Extinguishing campfires
Because Mojang somehow managed to fit three different professions onto the right mouse button, I had to make some compromises:
- Normal Right Click: Axe actions + Shovel actions
- Sneak + Right Click: Hoe actions
This prevents accidental farming incidents. You're welcome XD.
Combat
Believe it or not, the thing is also pretty decent in combat. AIOT has:
- Sword sweep attacks
- Faster attack speed than vanilla swords (2.0 vs 1.6)
- Efficient cobweb destruction
Will this turn you into a PvP god? Probably not. Will it stop a spider from ruining your day? Absolutely.
Enchantments
AIOT accepts:
- Weapon enchantments
- Tool enchantments
- General durability enchantments
Meaning you can put things like:
- Sharpness V
- Looting III
- Fortune III
- Efficiency V
- Unbreaking III
- Mending
all on the same tool. I didn't modify enchantment weights. However, after extensive scientific testing (gambling at an enchantment table), I am convinced the extra enchantment tags somehow improve my luck. I have no evidence for this.
Special Features
Netherite AIOT is upgraded through the Smithing Table, so all your existing enchantments can be carried over from the Diamond version. As expected, it is also:
- Fireproof
- Lava-proof
It is NOT explosion-proof. Please do not test this. Or do. I'm not your dad.
Additionally, crafting a Netherite AIOT grants the "Ultimate Dedication" advancement, saving you the trouble of obtaining it manually. You're welcome.
Durability
The durability values aren't random. Every AIOT follows a simple rule:
Durability = (Sword + Pickaxe + Axe + Shovel + Hoe durability) ÷ 2
Rounded down.
For example: A full set of Diamond tools has a combined durability of 7805.
7805 ÷ 2 = 3902.5
Therefore: Diamond AIOT = 3902 durability
Why half? Because AIOT is essentially five tools compressed into one. Giving it the full combined durability would be ridiculous. At that point your grandchildren would inherit the tool before it ever broke. Half felt a lot more reasonable. And after plenty of testing: Trust me. 3900+ durability is already a lot.
Final Notes
I should probably admit something. I'm the kind of person who gets bothered by tiny vanilla inconsistencies. For example: Did you know a shovel can't create a dirt path when clicking the bottom face of a block? Yeah. Neither did I. Until I spent way too much time making sure AIOT behaved exactly like vanilla.
This mod was originally created for personal use, so I currently have no plans to support versions outside Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge. On the bright side, that also means I spent an unhealthy amount of time testing it. I can confidently guarantee that it works perfectly on my computer. As for yours... Good luck.

这个模组的起因其实很简单。
啊,多么美好的一天,我正在矿道里美美下矿,第六感告诉我再挖挖就见到钻石了(绝对不是矿透)!我拿着镐子不停的向前挖,挖着挖着,突然啪!!的一下,一大坨勾石一样的沙砾出现在我的面前,而我们的番茄只用 0.01 秒就接受了这坨雷霆大沙砾的存在(好吧骗你的其实是没招了)。我拿出铲子哼着小曲破开了这坨沙砾继续向前,可是在我又挖了几块深板岩以后,赫然发现沙砾后面的不远处竟然还藏着一层黏土,“何意味?”的吐槽脱口而出,我赶忙再次切回铲子挖完黏土,切回镐子继续挖矿,而这样的场景无时无刻都在上演。
我不恨ojng的神秘生成逻辑,我只恨史蒂夫没有三头六臂 180 格快捷栏...等等,快捷栏?有什么办法可以节省一下快捷栏呢?我那比核桃仁还小的大脑被这个无法解答的世纪难题困扰了几小时,最终我的目光投向了那 5 把工具,“只要你们永远在一起就可以了吧?”。于是全能工具就这么诞生了,声明:此模组内没有任何一把工具遭受虐待。
功能:
好,没用的废话就省省吧。全能工具是一把同时拥有 剑、镐、斧、铲、锄 全部功能的工具,你不用再为了路上的沙砾切铲子,也不用为了挡路的树叶切成你的垫脚方块或者食物。或者简单来说,你不用为了干某件特定的事情而使用特定的工具(*仅限原版),想挖东西只需要按住鼠标左键当个无情的压路机就好了。(人行道那边不是很宽敞吗?.jpg)
右键交互:
当然,它也不只是能挖方块,原版工具该有的右键功能基本也都有:
- 原木去皮
- 铜块除锈
- 铜块除蜡(可以获得成就)
- 铲土径
- 锄耕地
- 熄灭营火
那么为了避免功能挤满小小的鼠标右键,我特地区分了普通右键和潜行右键的功能:
- 普通右键:负责斧头和铲子的操作
- 潜行 + 右键:则专门负责锄头操作
战斗:
除了上述的强大功能,全能工具还可以用于战斗,原版剑的攻速为 1.6,而全能工具的攻速是 2.0,并且具有横扫之刃,以及对蜘蛛网这种烦人的东西术业有专攻,想象一下,你用一把长得像个镐子,但数值比剑还猛的猎奇东西把对面连到怀疑人生,一边打一边问 “小宝贝爽不爽?爽不爽?” 。咳咳,虽然不确定这能不能拯救GRW团队的PVP大佬,但对你来说肯定够了!
附魔:
全能工具可以接受剑类、工具类、通用类附魔,你的全能工具可以同时拥有锋利 5、抢夺 3、时运 3、效率 5、耐久 3以及经验修补,虽然我没有改动附魔权重,但实测感觉多附魔标签对第一次赌高级附魔还挺有帮助。
特殊功能:
下界合金全能工具要通过锻造台制作,这当然是可以保留原钻石全能工具的附魔的;此外,它还具备防火防岩浆的功能(不防爆!!!),在你制作出下界合金全能工具时,还可以获得 “终极奉献” 成就,帮你节省了刷成就的时间,不用谢awa。
关于耐久:
全能工具的耐久不是随便拍脑袋决定的,每种材质的全能工具的耐久都等于 同材质剑、镐、斧、铲、锄 这5种工具耐久总和的一半,且小数点向下取整,举个例子:全套钻石工具耐久总和是 7805,除以 2 就等于 3902.5,所以钻石全能工具的耐久就是 3902 了。
那么为什么要这么算呢?因为它本质上相当于把 5 款工具压缩成了一把,但如果直接给5把工具的总耐久,拜托你准备一镐传三代人走镐还在吗?Bro小时候玩MC玩到删档了钻石全能工具还没爆。所以最后选择取了一半,而且实测发现这已经很够用了。
最后,我坦白我是个强迫症患者。
我在功能的考究上下足了功夫,例如铲子对着方块底部右键互动是无效的。我制作这个模组的初衷只是为了自用,所以并不准备支持 1.20.1 Forge 以外的任何版本,但这也意味着我在对模组的测试上确实投入了很长的时间,强调一下,我只能保证这款模组在我的电脑上能跑,如果你遇到了Bug或者我遗漏的原版特性,欢迎通过GitHub向我提交Issue,我会回复 Not a Bug(划掉)等我什么时候梦见了什么时候改(Doge)。
