Howdy!

So, what is this about?

I was looking for a good currency/economy mod for my friends' server, but after trying out a ton of economy mods I discovered that there wasn't a single mod that was to my liking and would have all the features I was wishing for.

Long story short, I decided to do one myself.

With that said: This mod simply adds an economy system to your game. It includes an ATM, bank notes, vending machines and checks. The currency is dollars, cause it's meant to be somewhat realistic and clear.

Current features (1.20.1 - 2.2.0)

ATM:

• Banknotes
  There are banknotes for 5, 10, 50, 100, 500 dollars. There also is a coin worth 1$.
• Withdraw Tab
  In the withdraw section, you can withdraw money from your bank account. The max. amount to withdraw with one click is 100.000$.
• Deposit Tab
  In the deposit tab, you can deposit money onto your bank account. You can deposit any of the 5 banknotes.
• Check Management Tab
  The check management is used to write and redeem checks that add funds to your bank account. It requires a bit of explanation as it might confuse you at first.
  • Redeem
    In the slot next to the redeem button you can put a validated check. When you press the button, it adds the funds that this check holds to your account.
  • Print Empty Check
    To write a new check and make it valid, you first need to get one. Simply press "Print" and drag it in to your inventory.
  • Validate Check
    To define the worth of your check and make it valid, there are two steps you need to do:
  1. Take the empty check into your main hand and run the command "/checkdefine [amount] - Note that the value must be at least 500.
  2. After step one you will get a "Written Check", which you can insert in the slot to the left of the "Confirm" button. After you press confirm, the check will be turned into a valid check which can be redeemed and the worth will be subtracted from your balance.

Vending Machine:

Players can use the vending machine for selling items to other players. Just pick any item and do /setprice. You can click "Pay out winnings" to receive a check with your sold items worth. Only the owner of the block can click the "Clear", "Pay out winnings" and „Remove“ buttons.

Passports:

Passports can be used to give players the choice between different states/towns/factions on your server. When a player right-clicks a passport, it becomes assigned to them. A passport reader is then used to read out the information about a player.

Commands:

• Admin-only commands

  • /bal [player]
    This lets you look up the balance of any player.
  • /baladd [player] [amount]
    This lets you add a specific amount of funds to the balance of a player.
  • /balsub [player] [amount]
    This lets you subtract a specific amount of funds from the balance of a player.
  • /balset [player] [amount]
    This lets you set the balance of a player to any number.
  • /suspend [player] [reason]
    Lets you suspend a player's bank account. The player will not be able to use any of the atm's features anymore and the reason you wrote down will be shown in the bottom left corner at his interface.
  • /unsuspend [player]
    Revokes a player's bank account ban.
  • /suspendreason [player]
    Shows you the reason for the last account ban of a player.
  • /val
    Validate a check without an ATM or money.

• User-commands

  • /checkdefine [amount]
    This command is used to define the worth of an empty check.
  • /setprice [price]
    Used for setting an items price for selling in the vending machine.

Q/A

Q: Is this mod safe for shaders and big modpacks? Can I use it for my server/modpack?
A: Yes and yes. I tried it in different modpacks with 150 - 250 mods. Also, a credit is appreciated but not needed.

Q: Backport to version XY?
A: Most likely not.

Q: Modloader XY?
A: Nope. I am not a big fan of 500 different modloaders for a single game. As I see it, it's straight up annoying and unnecessary. Thus, I will stick to forge for now.

Q: Do you accept requests for items and features?
