L_Ender’s Cataclysm Delight is an addon for L_Ender’s Cataclysm and Farmer’s Delight, bringing 50+ foods from Cataclysm mobs and bosses into Farmer’s Delight cooking. There’s also a player stat progression system built around eating.
So, what is this mod?
What is L_Ender’s Cataclysm Delight?
Food from bosses and their little friends, new knife materials, special food effects, and some other stuff around all of that. Well, that’s probably the shortest way i can explain it :)
Why does it exist?
Ever spent half your food supply fighting some giant boss just to realize the boss itself doesn’t even drop anything edible? Now it does.
What should you expect?
Food from Cataclysm mobs and bosses, separate boss dishes, new knives, and a system that lets you slowly improve your character stats by eating.

Okay... so what’s actually in it?
Imagine a world full of strange creatures, giant bosses, and huge dangerous dungeons. Or just install L_Ender’s Cataclysm. The mod adds food to almost every small and mid-tier Cataclysm mob, including my favourite one — the Deepling. We’ll get back to that guy later. Bosses can drop food too. Some of it can be eaten directly, while other parts are used for boss dishes. There are seven boss dishes for now.

There’s also a separate set of knives made from Cataclysm materials, and each one has its own small feature.

I also made special food for your dog :)
The Main Twist
A lot of special foods, especially the ones connected to bosses, can improve player stats. The tooltip shows which stat the food affects and how much it gives. Available stats are:
- Armor Boost — adds extra protection on top of what your armor already gives.
- Attack Boost — stronger paws.
- Speed Boost — increases movement speed.
- Jump Boost — increases jump height.
- Attack Speed — slowly returning to 1.8.9 :)
- Crit Chance — gives normal attacks a chance to become critical hits.
- Knockback Resistance — reduces how much knockback affects you.
- Passive Regen — passive health regeneration. At 100% it restores 2 HP every 5 seconds; at 1% it’s roughly once every 500 seconds.
- Swim Speed — increases movement speed underwater. Boss dishes usually improve several stats at once.

Config
Pretty much the whole system can also be changed through the config. You can disable stat progression completely, hide the stat hints in tooltips and leave everything veiled in mystery, or make stat progress reset after death. There are also several stat gain modes:
- ACCUMULATE — food gives its bonus every time you eat it.
- ONCE — each food type can give its bonus only once per player.
- LIMITED — bonuses can still stack, but every stat can have its own maximum value. Modpack creators, this part is mostly for you.
Credits
- Big thanks to the L_Ender’s Cataclysm team for creating such a rich world, all its creatures, bosses, and the ideas this addon is built around.
- Also a big thanks to the Farmer’s Delight team for the cooking system that became the base for a huge part of this addon.
- The stat progression system was inspired by GokiStats by lacuda55.
- Special thanks to BF_Meow for the huge amount of work on the mod textures. You made the visual side of the mod way better than i could have done on my own 💜
- Special thanks as well to Ext_Ramen496, molishang123, BF_Meow, and ウーロンコヤンイ for the Chinese translation and for helping make the mod accessible to more players ❤️
- And finally, thanks to everyone who tested the mod, reported bugs, shared feedback, and helped improve it over time.
Why I Made This
The whole thing started with the Deepling. Especially early in the game, this mob can be pretty annoying to deal with, and after killing one you would often get... basically nothing. At some point i just thought: why doesn’t it at least drop meat? So i made the first food item. After that i started adding food for some of the other mobs, then bosses, then a few things around their materials. It wasn’t really planned as something big at first. It just kept growing. And, well... now it’s this.
