Hello! It's been a while. I haven't exactly been feeling very passionate about Minecraft lately and I've been very busy on other projects, but I got an issue on my project and decided, well, why not? So here, Lachryvisions now has a config menu.
You can now toggle features!
A much needed feature in my first ever Minecraft mod, and for an incredibly old version of the game too. General contains gameplay tweaks such as toggling BetterSignEditing etc, and they all come with tooltips, so you'll know what they all do.
Have fun, I guess.
Updated signs again
Version 1.1 is here, and finally after some trial and error, you can now edit signs in your Singleplayer world, and they've also been improved to allow you to create newlines when you reach the end of one and go back when there's nothing in your current line and you hit backspace.
Future updates
I've also added Mutton and the /fill command from Et Futurum to test out backporting, but in the future I definitely want to try and add new commands like /replaceitem from 1.8, so I've backported some of the utils required for that from 1.8.9. When it comes to backporting features, expect to see some heavily personal opinions, e.g No elytra because they ruin the game, no guardians, no ocean monuments, no netherrite, no huge caves and cliffs and no nether update, but adding gold to the nether is something I plan on doing because it makes sense from a lore standard, how else do Zombie Pigmen get their swords? I also really want to add things like Observers and Sculk Sensors, but I want to change things like what Sculk Sensors are, make them less alien and more realistic, or vanilla, like instead of them being "Sculk" sensors, they are Redstone Sensors. It's small things really, make them look like they belong in Minecraft and not an Alien game. Certain things I will not be adding though, like Automatic Crafters which you can just get from using Buildcraft.
Changelog
LachREVISIONS:
- Gold swords now do 6.5 damage after some consideration, reverted their durability. Changes to Gold Swords do not work outside of IDE because it cannot find the right field. So I've reverted balancing of Gold Swords for now. Gold swords are supposed to be useless, but it'd be nice if they were somewhat good.
- Gamemode commands now work with command blocks.
- You can now right-click signs to edit them. Singleplayer only, for now.
- If you run out of space on a sign line, it will move you down to the next line.
- Horse Rearing chance has been raised from 1/4 to 1/1000 because it was too annoying. What this means is that horses will no longer Rear when hit by a mob, making them easier to use, but it could happen, the chance is just really really slim.
- Backported /fill command from Et Futurum.
- Backported Mutton and an Item registration class from Et Futurum.
Version 1.0.1 is just Version 1.0 but with a bug fix that allows improved signs to function. Definitely more to come in the future, more commands, more items, but I'll upload this for now, as this is really all I need in my singleplayer world. Have fun!
