LazyTrade
LazyTrade is a client-side Fabric mod that makes villager trade searching faster, cleaner, and easier.
It adds a collapsible vanilla-style side panel next to the villager trading screen, where you can search for a wanted trade, set an emerald price range, and let LazyTrade stop once a matching trade appears.
Features
- Clean Minecraft-style side panel in the villager trading GUI
- Search and select villager trades
- Supports all villager professions
- Shows only trades that are possible for the selected profession
- Shows future higher-level trades too, not only currently unlocked ones
- Uses real vanilla item icons in the GUI
- Set minimum and maximum emerald price
- Default price range starts at the vanilla minimum price
- Configurable delay between trade cycling attempts
- No max attempt limit
- Stops when the trade is found, the screen closes, the user stops it, or cycling is unavailable
Trade Cycling Integration
LazyTrade integrates with the Trade Cycling mod when it is installed.
When Trade Cycling is available, LazyTrade can automatically reroll villager trades until your selected target appears. If Trade Cycling is not installed, LazyTrade will safely show that cycling is unavailable instead of trying unsafe client-only behavior.
When a matching trade is found, LazyTrade stops and plays a success sound.
LazyTrade does not auto-buy trades.
Trade Matching
LazyTrade matches the actual trade output item, not just the displayed name.
It also checks the emerald price range and ignores unsupported trades that require a second input item. If multiple trades match your target, LazyTrade chooses the cheapest valid match.
Librarian Support
LazyTrade includes full enchanted book targeting for Librarians.
You can choose a specific enchantment book and use vanilla-based minimum emerald price ranges to search for the trade you want.
Enchanted Gear Targeting
For Weaponsmiths, Toolsmiths, Fletchers, and Armorers, LazyTrade can target enchanted gear by:
- output item
- required enchantments
- minimum enchantment level
- emerald price range
This means you can search for trades like enchanted swords, tools, bows, armor pieces, or boots with specific enchantments such as Sharpness, Efficiency, Power, or Feather Falling.
LazyTrade only shows enchantments that are actually valid for the selected item.
Compatibility
LazyTrade is built for Fabric and is currently available for:
- Minecraft 1.21.11
- Minecraft 1.21.10
It is a Java 21 client-side mod.
The GUI follows Minecraft GUI scale behavior and includes support for scrolling through trade options and enchantment filters.
LazyTrade also includes JEI compatibility so the LazyTrade panel should not overlap or click through JEI elements by accident.
Installation
Install LazyTrade like a normal Fabric client mod.
For automatic trade rerolling, install Trade Cycling as well.
Supported Versions
Separate builds are available for:
- Minecraft 1.21.11
- Minecraft 1.21.10
- Minecraft 1.19.4
