Re-Console is the flagship, best console-styled modpack for modern Java Edition versions, effectively re-making Minecraft console edition as if it never ended at 1.14.3.

Using the Legacy4J mod, Re-Console re-adds all the old Legacy Console Edition features, from the old washed out gamma to the old crafting menu.

Features

Built-in SMP

Re-Console comes built in with the Re-Console SMP, the officially ran Survival Multiplayer Server for Re-Console, with an active community and active updates!

Legacy Console Edition accuracy

Re-Console has almost every titular features of LCE, including the crafting menu, gamma, creative menu and more!

We also expand upon it, with features such as new skin packs, all the tutorial worlds, a new panorama, performance improvements, and QOL bugfixes!

Open Source

Re-Console is comprised of only open-source or source-available mods, which gives you the ability to see the code and contribute to the mods in the pack. Re-Console is also available on GitHub as a packwiz project.

Up to Date

Re-Console is very quick to update with bug-fixes, new content or features, or more parity changes.

OptiFine Features

Re-Console features and utilizes various mods that offers the same features that OptiFine does while also being modular so that you can remove features you don't want or features that are incompatible with other mods. This includes major resource pack features, dynamic lighting, better grass and snow and more, alongside the ability to significantly improve rendering and game logic performance, without compromising on the game's looks or features in any way. Re-Console comes with:

  • Improved memory and hardware usage
  • Improved world generation speed
