Less Tedium adds over 80 fair recipes and crafting mechanics for items that are otherwise, uncraftable, non-renewable, or unnecessarily tedious to obtain. Repetitive grinding or excessive RNG are made less of a problem when you can make more from the resources you have already. Powerful and rare items still require appropriately valuable materials and progression through parts of the game so as not to trivialize them.
New Recipes
The mod enables you to craft items like the elytra, trident, totem of undying, heavy core, sponge, end portal frame, bells, name tag, horse armor, chainmail armor, enchanted golden apple, monster spawner and much more.

End portal frames you place can be remined using an iron pickaxe or better, while leaving naturally spawned end frames as unminable. Crafted end portal frames remain mineable even if you reinstall the mod or change minecraft versions, using a coordinate based data file saved in your world folder.
Less Tedium also introduces craftable spawn eggs for most mobs with recipes designed around the characteristics or drops of each mob. You can unlock each egg recipe by killing the respective mob. These can be combined with the monster spawner just like in vanilla, making mob farms hopefully a bit less of a pain to build. Using the same system as end portals described above, crafted monster spawners can be remined using an iron pickaxe with silk touch.

New crafting table functions
Obtain concrete far more quickly and intuitively, as rather than having to place down stacks of concrete powder in the overworld in bodies of water you can now convert it in bulk within the crafting bench. Additionally, several powder colors can now be mixed directly.

Some recipes have additional mechanics, such as the end portal frame leaving behind the dragon egg in the crafting grid rather than using it up, given that there is only one in the game. Buckets and bottles used in the mod's recipes are likewise left behind.
New Brewing Recipes
Bottles O'Enchanting are brewed by placing either new or worn enchanted items into brewing stands with awkward potions, letting you recycle your old equipment or unused mob drops.

Ominous Bottles are brewed using ominous banners and awkward potions, one banner for each level.
