Features

New Loaf Cat type!

  • New: Siamese Loaf Cat, which spawns in the Birch Forest biome.
    In memory of 'Picatsso' - a beautiful Seal Point Siamese cat owned by one of the players of this mod.
  • New: Loaf Cats will now cuddle up to you and loaf on / close to the bed when you go to sleep. <3
  • New: Prompt messages for feeding a Loaf Cat, to indicate when it is healed and when it isn't hungry.

Changes

  • Change: Cat Food now heals 2 of the Loaf Cat's hearts instead of just 1.

Improvements

  • Improvement: Aligned the name text output more evenly on Loaf Cats which have been named (using a name tag).

Loaf Cats: Prompts & Bug Fix Update

[Version 1.1] for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 - 02/09/2024

Fixes

  • Bug Fix: Wooded Badlands Loaf Cats now spawn with the correct Badlands texture.
  • Bug Fix: Players can no longer interact with (sit/stand) another player's tamed Loaf Cat.

Prompt Messages!

  • New: Prompt messages for sitting (loaf mode) and standing (following)
  • New: Error message if you attempt to interact with (sit/stand) a Loaf Cat that is tamed and doesn't belong to you.
  • New: Prompt message for taming a Loaf Cat.
  • New: Prompt message for attacking a Loaf Cat.

Changes

  • Change: The Loaf Mode purring regenerative effect now only affects players on the same Y level as the Loaf Cat, emphasizing proximity for activation. The loaf cat is only happy when you are close to it!

Improvements

  • Improvement: Fixed Loaf Cat head rotations to align correctly to where the Loaf Cat is looking at.

- Loaf cats spawn in the world with different types (colours), dependent on the biome they spawn in.

- Cat Treat item

- Cat Food and Cat Food (Empty) item

- Loaf cats can be tamed using Cat Treat

- Loaf cats can be healed using Cat Food

- Catnip flower which generates in Plains, Forest and Flower Forest

- Loaf cats can be bred using Catnip

- Loaf cats will attack you if you provoke them and you are not their owner

- Loaf cats can heal nearby players (5 seconds of Regeneration I) when sat down (in "loaf mode")
