Advanced mode has been greatly improved!
Advanced mode can now be configured using new strings, making it much easier to use! You can also display the "x" "y" "z" locations as you wish!
x-value: x%.2f
y-value: y%.2f
z-value: z%.2f
World Name: worldName
For example, to display only the x, z locations, type "x%.2f z%.2f". Now only x, z locations are displayed. The number "2" indicates the number of decimal places, while entering "0" displays only integer values.
Previously you had to display all "x" "y" "z" locations in order, but not anymore!
Additionally, it has been improved to use the much more intuitive name "worldName" instead of "%s", which is a string representing the world name.
As a result, your existing strings will no longer work properly, so please reset them or change them to match the new version.
We hope this update makes LocationCopy mod more convenient to use!
WARNING
This version has an issue where changed settings are not saved.
Please use LocationCopy 1.1.3 which corrected the problem.
New features
- A compatibility patch for Minecraft 1.21 has been applied.
New Requirements
- Fabric API 0.100.1+1.21 or higher
- Fabric Loader 0.10.7 or higher
LocationCopy has been updated to 1.1.0!
This update includes many new features and changes!
- A new copy mode “Advanced” has been added! This mode exists as an addition to the existing “Simple” and “Detailed” copy methods. By changing to this mode, users will be able to customize the format in which locations are copied! Since this is saved, it will be maintained continuously unless you change to a different copy mode!
But be careful. If incorrect values are entered in advanced mode, Minecraft may crash when copying the location!
This is a new feature and may introduce new errors. If you find this, please report it.
Other changes:
- LocationCopy data that was previously saved in config/locationcopy/config.properties is now saved in config/LocationCopy.properties.
- New setting key values that are different from the existing ones are applied. Because of this, the settings of the existing version (~1.0.5) are now not compatible with the settings of the latest version.
- The ToolTip for the "Copy Mode" button is no longer displayed all at once. Depending on the set mode, different ToolTips will appear.
Reference:
- Versions below 1.20.4 are no longer supported starting from 1.0.5.
- The config/locationcopy/config.properties file is now deprecated starting from this version. Instead, the new config/LocationCopy.properties file will be used as the new save file.
- In “%.nf” in advanced settings, "n" represents the number of decimal places. It is set to 2 by default and you can adjust this number. If you enter 0, only integer value will appear.
- %s represents the world. If you want to display the world, use this. If you do not want the world name to be included in the copied field, remove %s.
- It is not yet possible to change the order of xyz location or delete some coordinates (e.g. display only xz location or display only yz location, etc.). This will be improved in the future if possible.
New update!
- The button location in the settings GUI has been moved to the center.
- 1.20.5, 1.20.6 compatibility patches have been applied.
Important note!
Starting with this version, you cannot use versions lower than 1.20.4!
Additionally, new requirements apply.
- Fabric API 0.97.5+1.20.5 or higher
- 1.20.5 Fabric Loader 0.10.7 or higher
This version applies a new Java version (Java 21) and many modifications have been made to make 1.20.5 and 1.20.6 compatible. Therefore, please be sure to report any errors you encounter!
Location Copy is officially released!
Just clear the experimental feature guide text in the Settings GUI and the functionality is almost similar to Beta 0.2.
Download and try the full version of Location Copy, which is much more stable and complete, right now!
In the future, unless there is a special update proposal, updates will only be made according to the Minecraft version update!
v0.2 has been updated!
This version offers significant improvements and additional features compared to v0.1
- "Show copied content" option added!
This button is the on-screen position display function that appeared and disappeared in SNAPSHOT 1.0! Now you can display the location on the screen if you want! You don't want it displayed? Then press the button again! You can also turn the feature off!
This setting can also be adjusted with "general.showLocationInChat" in config.properties.
Other than this
- Fixed an error where the list of config.properties settings did not appear properly when running for the first time.
- Added text to GUI settings to guide experimental features.
- Fixed some translation errors.
