One file instead of eight, and adjustable while the server runs.
The old downloads shipped eight fixed presets as separate files. That is not allowed on Modrinth (content rules 5.7), and it was the worse design anyway.
- One download. Day and night speed are set in game and survive restarts:
/scoreboard players set #day ld 50and/scoreboard players set #night ld 100. - Day and night are separate. Minecraft's own
/time rateapplies one factor to the whole cycle; this pack switches it at sunrise and sunset. - One file covers 26.1, 26.2 and 26.3.
- Works on an existing world now - the old version changed world data and did not.
Measured on real 26.1, 26.2 and 26.3 servers against a vanilla run: with #day 50 the day ran at 11.5 timeline ticks per second instead of 22.8 (0.50x), with #night 200 the night ran at 45.7 (2.00x).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
