A magic mod based on popular webnovel
Lord of the Mysteries
Choose one of 22 pathways and advance your sequence in order to rise to divine power. By collecting ingredients from the world, either from other nature, mobs, or other beyonders roaming the world, and putting them in a potion cauldron, they can combine into a potion. Each pathway and sequence for the respective pathway has a different formula, if you try to collect the potion and the formula isn't correct, the potion will most likely lead to you losing control and dying.
What are pathways and sequences?
Pathways can be simplified to classes, with each pathway having a different focus. For example, the Spectator pathway has a focus on the mind, whether it be causing damage to an opponent's mental state, dream-based abilities, or imagining things into reality. Meanwhile, there's also the Sailor pathway, having a focus on all things to do with water and lightning. By drinking a sequence 9 potion for one of the 22 pathways, you can start your journey to advance your sequence, slowly getting stronger and stronger until you get to sequence 0, where you will have an abudance of abilities to choose from, all unique and strong.
Where can I find ingredients and how can I use them?
Ingredients can be obtained from pretty much anywhere, but what's important is making sure you get the right one. They can sometimes come from nature, like rare flowers, or a diamond. Othertimes, they can come from mobs, like a rotten flesh, or an enderpearl. You can find the formula for some pathways off of random chests in naturally generated structured like mineshafts, or some rogue beyonders will drop them. What's important is you follow their instructions exactly, if you place an incorrect amount into a cauldron, upon trying to collect it, you'll end up with a potion that will kill you when you drink it.
How strong can I expect this mod to be?
Compared to other magic mods, it's very, very powerful. Even with it's strength, I still tried to nerf abilities a bit since being able to destroy the planet on a whim wouldn't translate too well into working with other mods. At sequence 9, you can expect some minor buffs. At sequence 7, you can expect to beat mobs like the warden with plain diamond if you fight according to how your pathway should. At sequence 4, other than modded bosses with high difficulty, you shouldn't have any problem fighting anything besides other high sequence beyonder NPCs/Players. At sequence 2, even modded bosses that would require extensive preparing and maxed gear could be fought with some or even no difficulty with nothing but your abilities. At sequence 0.....you're probably not gonna die, the only way would be to another sequence 0 NPC/Player, or an alliance of sequence 1s all teaming up trying to kill you.
How far along is this mod?
So far, only the Spectator,  Monster, and Sailor pathways are completed, along with a potion cauldron to add compatibility with other mods so you can make your own potions, as well as 3 sealed artifacts. There is a lot more coming so please stay tuned ^^
Necessary Information:
Dependencies: -Pehkui 3.8.2 Forge
Commands:Â /abilities: Displays all abilities you can use
/abilityput (Combination of 5 L's and R's) (Ability): Use in order to use the beyonder ability user. Since at high sequences, you won't be able to properly manage the items in your inventory, I implemented an ability user, by registering an ability with the 5 L's and R's in the command (for example: LLRRL), by holding the ability user and left and right clicking according to the set combination, you can use the ability you registered, allowing for quick combat.
/beyonder (Pathway) (Sequence): Used to set your pathway and sequence. For example, /beyonder lotm:sailor 3 would set your pathway to sailor and your sequence to 3
/beyonderrecipe add/remove: Used to add recipes to the potion cauldron. By default, there are none, if you are playing the mod pack, you can also use /beyonderrecipe load in order to load all the modpack recipes. For example, /beyonderrecipe add lotm:spectator_9_potion minecraft:feather aether:victory_medal mutant_monsters:hulk_hammer
/gamerule npcShouldSpawn (true/false): Will either enable or disable NPC's spawning. Default is false
