LPCTools
A client-side Fabric mod that adds a bundle of optional, toggleable tools, tweaks and a small visual scripting system — mostly aimed at technical survival, large-scale building / digging / draining, and item & material logistics.
Every tool is off by default: each one has its own entry, its own toggle and its own
hotkey, all managed in the in-game config GUI (default hotkey Z+C, also reachable
from Mod Menu).
Requirements
| Minecraft | 26.3 |
| Fabric Loader | any (0.19.5 tested) |
| Fabric API | required |
| Malilib | required |
| Java | 25+ |
| Environment | Client-side only |
Optional integrations:
- MiniHUD — shapes (regions) for the per-tool work range restriction.
- Litematica — schematics and their render range for the same restriction, the Tiling Tool's selection corners, and the Litematica Material Collector's material list.
- Tweakeroo —
LPCfy Tweakeroo Listrewrites some of Tweakeroo's lists into LPCTools' own editable config style. - Mod Menu — config screen entry point.
- LPCCarpetAddition — when its
/qsetblockand/qtpcommands are available, the matching LPCTools features use them instead of/setblockand/tpso they don't spam chat.
Tools
| Tool | Description |
|---|---|
| Filling Assistant | Places blocks from your inventory to fill holes automatically. Pathfinding decides whether a placement would block your own route (search distance configurable); placeable, passable and reserved block lists; transparent or non-opaque blocks can be treated as passable. Work range restriction available. |
| Liquid Cleaner | Places blocks to clear fluids automatically. Wants water-undestroyable, water-unloggable, non-plant, zero-hardness blocks. Downward checks can be skipped, source-only mode ignores flowing fluid, and the range can be expanded by one block to also clean the outer layer. Work range restriction available. |
| Slight X-Ray | Highlights ores that are exposed to air or next to a block that was just broken. Colours are either a fixed default or derived from the block texture (with saturation / brightness deltas); cull face optional. Work range restriction available. |
| Auto Grindstone | Erases unwanted enchantments, optionally limited to a list of enchantments and to a maximum level each. |
| Spawn Proofer | Covers spawnable blocks with the blocks you choose, to disable mob spawning. Work range restriction available. |
| Can Spawn Display | Displays the places where mobs can spawn (spawn light level, block lists and hitbox requirement are configurable), in MiniHUD style, full surface or line cube, optionally through blocks. Work range restriction available. |
| Break Restriction | Restricts your own block breaking: a range from MiniHUD shapes / Litematica schematics or render range, plus a block whitelist or blacklist. Work range restriction available. |
| Tiling Tool | Tiles an area based on the blocks of a selection area. Corners can be taken from the Litematica selection; tiling direction and "vague blocks" (blocks that may be mixed within one list) are configurable. Work range restriction available. |
| Furnace Maintainer | Helps maintain a furnace group; currently it removes obstructions inside the furnaces it detects. Can include the hoppers above, and its markers can be cleared. |
| Moss Borer | Digs holes fast using moss (not so easy to use yet). |
| Auto Reconnect | Reconnects to the server automatically. Reconnect delay after n attempts is (i + n·l) · pⁿ seconds; the attempt count can be unlimited. |
| Entity Highlight | Highlights the entity types on its list. |
| Leak Preventer | Highlights the blocks that would let a fluid leak through if broken, to avoid flooding while mining. |
| Bedrock Breaker | Auxiliary functions for bedrock breaking: one break operation triggers an extra break and a place. Torch auto-operate looks at a redstone torch instead (optionally only torches attached to bedrock), with a samples-per-tick setting for its thin hitbox. |
| Litematica Material Collector | Collects Litematica schematic materials: opening a container takes what is still needed, then closes it again. Warehouse containers are always used; material containers only in Building Mode, so Material Preparation Mode can safely pack them. |
| Trade Reroller | Rerolls and locks in librarian enchanted book trades, driving a lectern / button / anvil setup. Targets are listed as [enchantment ID, level, max accepted cost]; cheaper villagers can be kept, and each roll can be printed to chat. |
| Sign Fraction Helper | Writes the selected value into a sign's front first line and skips the edit screen. Iterate up / down and ×2 / ÷2 walk the value while you build, wrapping inside [0,1) or [0,2). It only writes the number onto the sign — what the number means is up to other features. |
| Elytra Bounce | Glides and jumps automatically on touchdown, bouncing along the surface while staying in the flying pose. Options: require the jump key, briefly hold back the stop-glide packet, auto forward sprint, instant glide restore. |
A Disable All button on the Tools page turns every tool off in one click.
Tweaks
| Tweak | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Block Interaction Enhancements | off | Extra hotkeys that also work on vanilla servers: replace block, replacement via /setblock (keeps block attachments), and a safe block break that also clears surrounding blocks which would drop. Prefers /qsetblock when LPCCarpetAddition is present. |
| happyGhastRidingTweak | off | Moves a happy ghast up and down with the sneak / jump keys instead of your pitch, plus an optional dismount hotkey. |
| Bar Tweaks | off | Locator points on the experience bar or the jump bar, experience-bar background for the locator bar, and showing those bars in creative mode. |
| Enchantment Level Fix | off | Vanilla displays enchantment levels above 10 incorrectly; this fixes that. A maximum level for Roman numerals can be set; above it, Arabic numerals are used. |
| Note Block Sign Tweaks | off | A wall sign's front lines set the extra delay, volume multiplier and pitch exponent of the row of note blocks behind it. The three can be enabled separately; values accept fractions (1/2) or decimals (1.5). |
| Disable Pitch Clamp | off | Removes vanilla's [0.5, 2] limit on the played pitch. |
| Mod Menu Play ClickSound | off | Plays the click sound when a config screen is opened from Mod Menu. |
| LPCfy Tweakeroo List | off | Makes some Tweakeroo lists use LPCTools' style of editable config. |
| Extra Block Break Cooldown | off | Applies the block break cooldown even to instant breaks, so very high mining speed cannot break machines. |
| Decrease Block Break Cooldown While Idle | off | Keeps decreasing the block break cooldown while you are not trying to mine, instead of pausing it. |
| Reset Block Break Cooldown When Starting to Mine | off | Resets the cooldown whenever you start mining — part of what early Minecraft versions did. |
| Pass Through Entities | off | The crosshair ignores entities and targets the block behind them. |
| Pass Through Blocks | off | The crosshair ignores blocks and targets the entity behind them. |
| Ray Cast Teleport | off | A hotkey teleports you to where you are looking, via /tp (or /qtp). A block target is pushed slightly off the hit face; a miss goes along your view direction up to the loaded edge, or can be cancelled instead. |
Scripts
A visual scripting system for whatever the tools do not cover. A script is built from a
trigger plus a list of operations in an in-game editor (drag to reorder, copy, paste,
insert, remove), and stored as JSON in the LPCScripts/ directory.
Triggers:
- Hotkey — a Malilib hotkey.
- Client Tick Start / Client Tick End — runs on every client tick.
Operations cover control flow (Run If Else, While / Do-While / For loops,
Iterate Array / Iterate Iterable, Break / Continue / Return), variables (local,
per-script static and global static), and value suppliers for block positions, block
states and block properties, items and item stacks, entities and players, tag keys,
maths and client messages, among others.
Shared Settings
These apply to LPCTools as a whole rather than to a single tool:
- Independent Thread Pool — runs tool work on a separate thread pool (size configurable) instead of the main thread.
- Limit Operation Speed — a global operations-per-tick budget, with separate costs for block interaction, block breaking, entity interaction and entity attacks, to avoid being kicked by servers.
- Bypass Mode — how the client judges its own operations: rotation speed limit sent per tick, and whether block break / block interact / block place / entity interact / entity attack use distance only, a ray cast direction check, or a ray cast only.
- Has Command Method — how LPCTools decides whether you have a command available: the command tree, or gamemaster permission.
- Max Command Length — upper bound for the commands LPCTools sends.
- Max Updates Per Frame — caps per-frame shape updates of the rendering tools.
- Reach Distance / Offhand Operation — per tool: client-side reach, and using the offhand.
- Work range restriction — a per-tool entry (
limitWorkingRange) that reads MiniHUD shapes and Litematica schematics: only regions whose names carry the configured prefix are counted, and each one is folded into the allowed area with a mode —+add,-subtract,+~add the area outside the shape,-~keep only the overlap.
Notes
- Client-side only: nothing needs to be installed on the server.
- Features that use commands (
/setblock,/tp) need the matching permission on the server, and are skipped with a warning otherwise. - Config is stored next to Malilib's other configs as
lpctools-LPCConfig.json; scripts are separate JSON files inLPCScripts/. - Some tools (Slight X-Ray, Bedrock Breaker, Trade Reroller, …) are helpers for servers that allow auxiliary tools. Follow the rules of the server you play on.
