Changes
What's New in v1.2.0
⚖️ Progression & Crafting Rebalance
- Non-Recursive Upgrades: Upgrades across all 8 tiers no longer require tedious nested crafting chains where each upgrade required the previous one inside it. Each upgrade now features independent, thematic recipe requirements.
- Balanced Evil Tiers: Crimtane and Demonite upgrades now feature balanced and identical crafting costs (Iron Blocks, Gold Ingots, and their respective Evil Ingots) reflecting their identical 54-slot capacity.
- Refined Recipe Ingredients:
- Hallowed Ingot: Now incorporates Nether Quartz in slots 3 & 6 for balanced mid-game progression.
- Blue Chlorophyte Upgrade: Now utilizes Lapis Lazuli Blocks instead of Emerald Blocks.
- Luminite Upgrade: Now incorporates the new Radiant Jewel alongside Shulker Shells and End materials.
- Terra Upgrade: Requires the new endgame Terra Singularity.
- Streamlined Remote Upgrades: Direct recipe conversions between Access and Crafting Remotes across Pre-Hardmode, Hardmode, and Ultimate tiers.
⛏️ New Worldgen Ores & Fortune Drops
- Hellstone Ore:
- Naturally generates deep in the Nether beneath the lava ocean strictly under Y: 31 (Y: 5–30).
- Requires a Diamond Pickaxe or better.
- Drops raw Hellstone Fragments which benefit from the Fortune enchantment!
- Smelt fragments in a furnace or combine them with Blaze Powder into Hellstone Bars.
- Luminite Ore:
- Naturally generates on outer End islands at a distance of $r \ge 1024$ from the main island.
- Drops raw Luminite Fragments (affected by Fortune), which can be smelted into Luminite Bars.
- Custom Textures: Custom ore textures custom-blended to seamlessly match Netherrack and End Stone substrates.
💎 New Terraria-Inspired Materials
- Shadow Diamond: Dark diamond crafted with diamonds surrounded by coal, obsidian, and ender pearls (or dropped from boss encounters).
- Radiant Jewel: Luminescent celestial gem crafted with Nether Stars, Diamonds, and Prismarine Crystals.
- Terra Singularity: Master-tier crafting component uniting all previous upgrade tiers with Nether Stars to forge Terra Storage Units.
- Custom Bars & Ingots: Standalone custom textures for Crimtane Ingot, Demonite Ingot, Hellstone Bar, Hallowed Ingot, Chlorophyte Bar, and Luminite Bar.
⚡ Performance & Instant Shift+Click Crafting
- Instant Shift+Click Craft All: Shift-clicking crafted items in Crafting Access and Portable Crafting Remotes now computes the maximum possible craft count in a single pass rather than repeating hundreds of iterative container updates. Shift-crafting full inventories of items is now instant and lag-free!
- Optimized Storage Indexing: High-speed network iteration and caching for large networks with hundreds of thousands of items.
🧪 Strict NBT Recipe Matching for JEI Autofill
- Potion recipes and Enchanted Books now strictly check full NBT tags during JEI recipe transfer ('+' button).
- Fixed issues where any generic potion (or output potion) would be mistakenly placed into brewing input slots, or improper book variants were transferred to anvil combining slots.
🚀 Dynamic JEI Plugin (Massive Modpack Startup Speedup)
- Converted the JEI integration to dynamic recipe handlers.
- Eliminates over 1.3 million static recipe registrations that previously caused 20+ second launch freezes on large modpacks (such as RLCraft). Startup load times are now significantly faster!

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
