Changes
MetalRender v0.1.6 Changelogs:
- Added MetalRender Command line
- Added ModMenu config UI
- Improved LOD system
- Added TAA (partly)
- Added MetalFX upscaling
- Used [half] instead of [float] for faster Metal-side loading
- Lowered quality to a barely noticeable state but enought to increase FPS
- Fixed LOD mesh generation
Precautions:
- If MetalRender gets slow after a while, use /metalrender cache clear or /metalrender reload
- If Minecraft gets slow, turn low power mode off as it has been tested to lower FPS and graphics greatly. Great for if you can't charge for a while.
- Remember to get ModMenu, MetalRender now needs it
Performance boost (in testing) In testing, MetalRender v0.1.6 has been shown to sport a ~60 FPS improvement (~200 FPS) from v0.1.5 (~120 FPS), under optimal circumstances.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
