REQUIRES GECKOLIB
JUST ENOUGH ITEMS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This mod is not multipayer tested. I would not recommend using it on large servers, though small ones should be fine.
This mod recreates lots of TotK/BotW features in Minecraft.
This mod is not designed for survival mode. Though most items do have a survival-friendly crafing recipe, this mod is more designed for a map creator to set up shrines, korok puzzles, dungeons, ect, and for someone else to play it. Look at the FAQ for more information on maps.
To fix most small bugs, or to reset something, use /resettotk and then [soft], [hard], [pouch] or [health] to determine the type of reset.
[soft] will fix most bugs (which normally occur with Ultrahand).
[hard] will reset every variable to do with the mod.
[pouch] will reset how many Hestu's pouch slots you have unlocked.
[health] with reset your health back to 10 if you used heart containers.
Current added features include:
Spoiler
- Ultrahand
- Ascend
- Pausing time (I don't know how recall would work)
- The Sheikah Slate (With Bombs and Cryonis)
- All sages
- Paraglider
- Master sword and Hylian Shield
- A lot of regional equipment
- A shrine, light of blessing and heart container system
- Some Zonai devices and 1 build
- Zonai soldier and steward constructs
- BotW and TotK style cooking
- Koroks and Hestu
- Gloom and gloomed/gloom resistance effects
HOW TO USE THINGS:
The Right Arm and abilities:
Spoiler
Equip The Right Arm in your offhand (yeah, ik) to be able to use the abilities. To enable use of an ability, [right click] the corresponding "Ability Orb" to unlock it.
Ultrahand: Once unlocked, hold [shift] and [right click] The Right Arm while in your offhand to pick up the block or mob you are pointed at. [right click] again to place it back down (while dropping small mobs, make sure that your cursor is pointed directly at them - by looking straight up - to drop them)
Ascend: Once unlocked, press [z] to ascend onto the block above you.
Pause: Since Recall would be too hard to make, I made Pause instead. Once unlocked, press [x] to pause all mobs around you. It does not effect mobs spawned in after time was paused. Press [x] again to unpause time.
Fuse: Fuse was not added as there is no easy way to combine item attack powers, which is the main element of fuse.
Sage Vows:
Spoiler
Tulin: Press [r] while paragliding to gust forward
Yunobo: [right click] the vow to launch an explosive projectile
Sidon: [right click] the vow to become invincible for 1 second (like the bubble protection)
Riju: [right click] the vow to launch a lightning-striking projectile
Mineru: [right click] the vow to spawn Mineru, and [right click] her to ride her. [right click] the vow again to despawn her.
Crafting: To craft a vow, you will first need to craft a "Sage's Essence", which can then be turned into any of the 5 vows with elemental items relating to that sage. (JEI will help)
Regional Equipment:
Spoiler
Any effects will only apply if the full set is equipped.
Hylian: The Hylian armor will give you hero of the village and luck. The Master Sword launches a damaging projectile if you are on full health, and is repairable by placing it into a crafting grid. The Hylian Sheild is unbreakable.
Rito: The Glide armor is used for the Rito, as Snowquill armor would be useless without a temperature system. The glide armor will make you fall down slower, while still applying regular fall damage when you hit the ground. The Great Eagle Bow fires 3 arrows at once.
Goron: The Flamebreaker armor will give you fire resistance. The Boulder Breaker will explode mobs you hit if it is on full charge.
Zora: The Zora armor gives you dolphins grace. The Lightscale Trident deals extra damage while you are in water or it is raining.
Gerudo: The Desert Voe armor gives you resistance 1 while in sunlight. The Scimitar of the Seven gives you strength 1 while in sunlight.
Yiga: The Yiga armor gives you invisibility. The Eightfold Longblade fires wind if you attack while holding [shift]. The Earthquake Manual spawns an evoker fang (basically an earthquake) where you are looking when [right clicked].
Zonai: The Zonaite armor consumes zonai charges from your offhand every 10 seconds and gives you resistance 3. The Zonaite sword consumes zonai charges from your offhand every 10 seconds and gives you strength 3.
Depths: The Depths armor gives you gloom resistance. The Gloom Sword gives you the gloomed effect and deals 1 heart of damage every time you attack.
Crafting: Each armor set can be crafted from related materials to the set. (JEI will DEFINITELY help)
Sheikah Slate:
Spoiler
Bombs: Use the [place bomb] button to place a tnt (it won't go off naturally for 5 minutes) and the [explode bomb] button to explode the nearest bomb.
Cryonis: Stand in water and use the [cryonis] button to place an ice pillar.
Stasis and Magnesis: Stasis is freeze and Magnesis is Ultrahand.
Travel Medallions: Click the buttons on the left to place your first, second, and third Travel Medallions. Click the buttons on the right to travel to your first, second, and third Travel Medallions. Each Sheikah Slate has it's own set of 3 Travel Medallions.
Cooking:
Spoiler
Place up to 5 ingredients into a cooking pot and cook them to combine their food values. A "food" is determined by if you can eat it from your inventory, so cake and sugar DO NOT work, and rotten flesh and spider eyes do. If any one of the ingredients are not a "food", it will make dubious food, which applies a random negitive effect when eaten. Some ingredients have special properties, which applies to the food they are cooked into:
- Apples give absorbtion
- Sweet berries give speed
- Spider eyes give invisibility
- Raw cod gives dolphins grace
- Glow berries give night vision and glowing
- Steak gives strength
- Potatoes give ressistance
- Honey bottles give fire ressistance
- Raw tropical fish give conduit power
- Gunpowder (in dubious food) makes it explosive
Only one effect works on each piece of food. Food with different effects or food with different saturation levels won't stack.
Gloom:
Spoiler
Gloomed Effect: While active, it stops the player from healing. Only works on players.
Gloom Resistance Effect: Stops the player being affected by gloomed. It will not stop the player taking damage from gloom blocks/gloom swords, but will let them heal while on/using them. Only works on players.
Gloom block: While standing on it, it deals 1 damage whenever possible (like magama, but holding [shift] will not cancel it), and gives the gloomed effect. Spawns in the Nether, or can be crafted with magma and netherrack.
Shrines, "Launchers", Koroks, Zonai constructs and most other things:
Spoiler
These are all fairly basic, and do not spawn naturally, so most are currently not supported in survival:
Shrines: Send you to a custom dimention for you to make your own custom shrine. Enter another shrine block to leave.
"Launchers": Skyview Tower blocks. Launch you up when stood on. Aren't mineable or craftable in survival.
Koroks: Right click Koroks to get seeds, and give them to Hestu to upgrade your "Pouch", an item with 27 additional slots that are unlocked by Hestu.
Zonai Constucts: Steward constructs can hold 1 item. Soldier constructs attack you. They both drop zonai charges, which are essential to crafting many things in this mod. Neither spawn naturally.
Zonai Devices: 1 plane, 1 steering stick, and 2 fans can be combined to create a plane, controlled with [space] to go up, and [m] (by default) to go down.
FAQ
When will you update to X version? - Whenever MCreator updates (and I can be bothered). 1.21 has not been released for MCreator yet, (and also lots of the mods I like to use haven't updated either), so I won't be updating to 1.21 anytime soon. I also would like to focus more on the features of the mod rather than version updating
Can you add X feature? - Eventually I would like to add all of the TotK/BotW features I can, but I will do that at my own pace.
Is there a BotW/TotK map I can play with this on? - Grazzy is going to release his BotW in Minecraft map soon, so if you like this, definitely go check him out. I might also edit his map, replacing some of non-functional vanilla decorations with the mod's versions, adding entities, ect. (e.g. replacing malice with the gloom blocks, spawning constructs on the islands, placing sage wills in the divine beasts). Hopefully it will end up as one big BotW/TotK mush, with different elements from the 2 games, merged together into one map. If get permission to upload it onto here, you guys can use the mod-compatible map.
Just remember that I'm one guy working on a random project because I want to, and I don't want this to become stressful. :)
Made with MCreator (and love <3)
