Mitra's Auto Sprinter v1.9.0 - "The Polish Round"
Release Date: 2026-10-11
A quality-of-life release: one long-standing bug finally put down, a real command, a smarter HUD editor, and a config screen that got simpler instead of bigger. It also ships alongside the first Minecraft 26.3 build.
⚠️ Before You Upgrade
- Versions: Minecraft 26.2 needs the
fabric-mc26.2jar, Minecraft 26.3 needs thefabric-mc26.3jar. Both need Fabric Loader 0.19.5+, Fabric API 0.161.0+26.x, Fzzy Config 0.7.7+26.x, and Java 25+. - One-time label reset: the Blocked Reasons tab moved into the Labels section, so customized blocked-reason labels reset to their defaults once after upgrading. Everything else (position, colors, toggles, scales) carries over automatically.
- Renamed config layout: the config is now three tabs (Sprint, HUD, Labels) instead of four, and the HUD groups are Visibility & Mode, Position & Size, Colors & Shadow, and Background. Grouping is cosmetic; nothing was deleted.
- New defaults: Rounded Corners is on by default (the corner radius follows the background padding), and Background Padding now goes up to 20 instead of the old fixed 3. Both default to looking the same as 1.8.0 until you touch them.
🎵 What's New
/mitrasautosprintercommand: type it in chat and the config screen opens, no Mod Menu and no keybind needed. It is a client-side command, so it works on any server and the server never sees it.- HUD editor state preview: press N in the HUD editor to cycle through every state the HUD can show (ON, OFF, each blocked reason, unknown, and the loading labels), so you can position and size it against the longest label instead of guessing.
- Rounded corners: the background box can now have rounded corners, on by default. Crank the Background Padding slider for a chunkier rounded panel look, or turn the toggle off for the classic sharp box.
- Separate Unknown color: the "Unknown Reason" label gets its own color setting instead of borrowing the blocked color, so a Minecraft update adding an unmodeled sprint restriction is visually distinct from "you are too hungry".
🛠️ Fixes & Tweaks
- Vanilla Toggle Sprint compatibility: if you use Minecraft's own Toggle Sprint option, the mod could show "Unknown Reason" and quietly stop sprinting you, depending on the order you enabled things. The mod now speaks toggle sprint's language: it latches once instead of flipping the key every tick, and turning the mod off restores your toggle state instead of fighting it.
- Readable positions: dragging the HUD no longer writes values like 0.56558995 into the config; they are rounded to four decimals (0.5656), which is sub-pixel accurate.
- Editor instructions: the on-screen editor help is now one instruction per line instead of a dash-joined run-on sentence.
- Everything still works the way it did: all 1.8.0 settings, keybinds, and the HUD editor controls behave the same; the changes above are additive.
📚 Docs
- README.md: slimmed down to what the mod is, supported versions, links, and license.
- GUIDE.md: new, holds everything detailed that left the README: setup, the full HUD state reference, editor controls, and the settings rundown.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
