MME adds new trees (mediterranean cypress, firethorn, privet, sloe) and new ore (sulfur, tin) to Minecraft. Latex can be extracted and processed from some tree species.
New workbenches such as drill press, jaw crusher, latex collector, milling machine and table saw enable the production of new blocks. The box end wrench and cross head screwdriver allow the modification of some of the new blocks.
Further MME blocks are:
Wired blocks, repeating blocks and wired fences allow space-saving and "invisible" forwarding of redstone signals. The randomiser block forwards an incoming redstone signal in a flickering manner (configurable).
The further processed latex can be used to insulate doors horizontally or vertically against redstone signals. Hidden doors and trap doors are visually indistinguishable from the block from which they are made. Pressure trapdoors open automatically when certain mobs/players step on them.
Furthermore, several light sources are added. Some of these light sources only light up when a redstone signal is received.
Decorative blocks such as tables, chairs, chimneys, piles of bones, statues etc. are added by the mod.
A new type of fence, the twin wire mesh fence, is added to Minecraft.
There are also new types of Food (green prickly pear, red prickly pear, sloe berries) and villagers (forest botanist, quarryman) can practise two new professions.
New structures are generated in various biomes and villages.
