Mob Health Display
Mob Health Display is a highly configurable client-side target health HUD mod for Fabric.
When your crosshair points at a living entity, when you attack an entity, or when an entity attacks you, the mod automatically displays a target information HUD. The HUD includes an entity model preview, current and maximum health, a colored health bar, armor information, and recent damage feedback.
The mod also provides animated target outlines, hit tint effects, configurable combat particles, and a complete in-game configuration menu.

Configuration Menu
The mod includes a complete in-game configuration menu.

The menu allows players to adjust:

The reset button only restores the default settings of the currently selected configuration page.
Interface Languages
The configuration menu supports Simplified Chinese and English.
Three interface language modes are available:
- Follow Minecraft
- 简体中文
- English
When Follow Minecraft is selected, the mod automatically chooses its interface language according to the current Minecraft language.
Players can also force the mod to use Simplified Chinese or English without changing Minecraft's global language.
The configuration screen refreshes immediately after changing the interface language. A game restart is not required.
The selected language mode is saved automatically, and configuration files created by earlier versions remain compatible.
How to Use
The target HUD appears automatically when:
- Your crosshair points at a living entity
- You attack a living entity
- A living entity attacks you
Open the Minecraft Options screen and select the Mob Health Display settings button to access the configuration menu.
No additional key binding is required for normal use.
Requirements

Installation
- Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 26.1.2.
- Install the matching version of Fabric API.
- Place the Mob Health Display JAR file in the
modsfolder. - Start Minecraft using the Fabric profile.
This mod only needs to be installed on the client.
Servers do not need to install this mod.
Performance
High particle quantities, large particle sizes, and long particle lifetimes may reduce performance during frequent combat.
Players using lower-end hardware should reduce:
- Normal-hit particle quantity
- Critical-hit particle quantity
- High-speed critical particle quantity
- Particle lifetime
- Particle size
Target outlines and some rendering effects can also be disabled individually.
Compatibility
The main features have been tested in both clean and heavily modded environments.
The mod has also been tested alongside commonly used client-side rendering and interface mods. However, compatibility with every HUD, shader, rendering, entity-outline, or interface replacement mod is not guaranteed.
When using Iris with certain shader packs, target outlines may produce rendering warnings or visual differences. If this occurs, disable the world target outline option in the configuration menu.

界面语言
配置菜单支持简体中文和英文。
提供三种界面语言模式:
- 跟随游戏

- English
选择“跟随游戏”后,模组会根据 Minecraft 当前使用的语言自动选择配置界面语言。
玩家也可以在不修改 Minecraft 全局语言的情况下,强制让本模组使用简体中文或英文。
切换界面语言后,当前配置页面会立即刷新,不需要重新启动游戏。
语言模式会自动保存,并兼容旧版本生成的配置文件。
使用方法
出现以下情况时,目标 HUD 会自动显示:
- 准星指向存活生物

- 存活生物攻击玩家
打开 Minecraft 的“选项”界面,然后点击 Mob Health Display 的设置按钮,即可进入配置菜单。

- 暴击高速核心粒子数量
- 粒子生存时间
- 粒子大小
目标轮廓和部分渲染效果也可以单独关闭。
兼容性
本模组的主要功能已经在纯净环境和多模组环境中完成测试。
模组也与部分常用客户端渲染和界面模组进行了组合测试,但目前无法保证与所有 HUD、光影、渲染、实体轮廓或界面替换模组完全兼容。
在部分 Iris 光影环境下,目标轮廓可能产生渲染日志警告或显示差异。遇到这种情况时,可以在配置菜单中关闭“大世界目标轮廓”。
测试版说明
当前项目仍处于公开测试阶段。
主要功能已经可以正常使用,但后续仍可能发现新的兼容性问题或显示问题。
