Added
- Alpha Monkey: a larger, scarred monkey with increased health, stronger attacks, unique attack animations and angry eyes.
- Alphas defend nearby monkeys, never steal food and do not flee at low health.
- Alpha attacks have an 8% chance to disarm the player's main-hand weapon, with a 15-second cooldown.
- Alpha attacks have a 15% chance to launch their target upward.
- Rare alpha companions can appear in wild troops and jungle temple groups.
- Jungle temples now host permanent groups of 12–16 monkeys. Lost residents are not replaced.
- Golden Monkey Totem shrines surrounded by deepslate ruins.
- Breaking a totem grants 8 seconds of Blindness and 3 minutes of Jungle's Distrust.
- Totems drop 3 gold nuggets when mined with a suitable tool, never the block itself.
- “Under the Canopy”: a new 2×2 jungle painting available through the vanilla painting item.
- New attack animation for ordinary adult monkeys.
Changed
- Banana plants now grow two blocks tall, with redesigned flat textures.
- Updated banana plant growth, harvesting and natural generation.
- Existing banana bushes automatically adapt to the new plant system.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
