Mood Swings

Mood Swings is a configurable addon for Wathe that expands the mood system with new tasks, named areas, and more ways to keep players moving, interacting, and acting suspiciously normal.

The mod adds several repeatable tasks that blend naturally into Wathe’s existing gameplay loop:

Take a Shower: remain beneath an active shower head Socialize: stay close to another player Hit the Gym: spend time inside a configured gym area Investigate a Strange Noise: visit a randomly selected named area Go for a Walk: travel a configurable distance Visit the Rooftop: remain inside the configured rooftop area

Custom tasks use Wathe’s native mood interface and support separate civilian and killer text, allowing killers to receive believable fake objectives while civilians handle their regular needs.

Named Areas:

Mood Swings includes a per-save area system that lets server owners define locations such as:

gym rooftop lobby pool storage garden

Areas can be created and managed using in-game commands, then referenced by tasks. The strange_noise task can randomly choose from the areas available in the current save, making every assignment less predictable.

Configurable:

Most task behavior can be adjusted through the config menu, including:

task durations
required walking distance
socializing range
shower detection range
area names
enabled and disabled tasks
task availability for each individual save

Configuration is available through Cloth Config, with Mod Menu support for easier access.

Designed for Servers and Custom Maps

Mood Swings is useful for social-deduction maps, roleplay servers, adventure maps, and any Wathe setup that needs more varied objectives.

Area definitions and task settings are stored separately for each Minecraft save, so different maps can use completely different task selections without changing the mod itself.
