More Tools is a small, focused mod that expands Minecraft’s tool progression by adding full tool sets crafted from a handful of new and under-used materials. Each set is designed to feel distinct — different look, different niche — while staying balanced for survival play. Expect handy mid- to late-game options (and a few fun utility quirks) that encourage exploration and resource variety without breaking progression.
About the author — Anoosh Hi — I’m Anoosh, a Minecraft modder who loves making small, polished additions that actually feel useful in survival. I build with balance in mind: clear tradeoffs, simple crafting, and a little bit of personality for each item. Feedback and localization help are welcome — drop bug reports or suggestions on the mod page.
Amethyst Tools Shimmering violet tools with slightly increased enchantability and a mellow sound when used. They’re not the strongest, but they get better enchantments more reliably and look great in crystal-themed builds.
Coal (Char) Tools Budget starter tools you can craft early with coal/charcoal as a partial substitute for wood/stone. Cheap to make and quick to replace — perfect for mining runs when you don’t want to waste higher-tier materials.
Echo Shard Tools Rare, mysterious tools made from Echo Shards. Designed for utility: short, cooldown-based “echo” effects (think tiny blink or brief item-pull) and a unique visual/sonic flair. Great for exploration and emergency escapes.
Emerald Tools Trader’s tools that emphasize luck and enchantability. These tools have better fortune/loot synergy and are easier to get good enchantments on — ideal for players who focus on trading and resource farming.
Redstone Tools Mechanized, utility-focused tools that incorporate short bursts of speed or powered behavior (for example: momentary mining speed boosts or redstone-style active abilities). Excellent for builders and players who like techy, fast workflows.
Quartz Tools Precision tools that favor speed and responsiveness. Slightly higher attack/swing speed or tool responsiveness, making them a favorite for fast building and precise work rather than raw durability.
Prismarine Tools Aquatic tools tailored for underwater use: faster underwater mining/harvesting, better durability when wet, and simple repair synergy with prismarine shards. Perfect for ocean explorers and underwater base builders.
