Details
Control your Spotify playback without leaving the game. Link your account once, and then you can play, pause, skip, and queue tracks directly from chat.
Features
/music play <song> by <artist> — search your Spotify library and start playback instantly
/music pause / /music stop — pause playback
/music resume — pick up where you left off
/music skip — jump to the next track
/music queue <song> by <artist> — add a track to play next
/music nowplaying — see what’s currently playing
This runs entirely on your device, so there’s no impact on the server and no interference with multiplayer.
How it works
MusicCraft connects to your Spotify account with a secure one-time login. This is the same “Log in with Spotify” process you encounter in other apps. Once linked, your /music commands communicate directly with Spotify. Minecraft controls the music, while Spotify plays it.
Requirements
- Spotify Premium (required by Spotify for third-party playback control)
- Spotify app must be open and running on some device (phone or desktop)
- A one-time account link is needed on first use
Notes
Music plays through your Spotify app or device, not from inside Minecraft, so there’s no in-game positional audio available yet.
Your login is managed by Spotify’s secure page — MusicCraft doesn’t access or store your password.
