The main purpose of Plushies are for decorating and collecting. However, they also have special properties when placed in your world.

๐Ÿ’– Hugs & Effects

Hugging your plushie will give special effects. This makes them a bit more helpful to have. Bring them alongside you on an adventure!

The type of properties and effects depend on the type of plushie.

In-World Properties
  • Earth Ponies help bees pollinate
  • Pegasi prevent fall damage
  • Unicorns and Alicorns can boost enchanting tables like bookshelves
Hug Effects (Configurable)
  • Earth Ponies: Strength
  • Pegasi: Slow Falling
  • Unicorns: Absorption
  • Alicorns: Strength, Slow Falling, Absorption, Glowing

๐Ÿ” How to get Plushies

๐ŸŽ Gift Boxes

You can get plushies by obtaining and opening Gift Boxes.

All plushies have an equal chance to drop from a Gift Box.

๐Ÿฐ Exploration

Find Gift Boxes though exploring structures in your Minecraft world. Gift Boxes can be found in dungeons, strongholds, end cities, ancient cities, pillager outposts, and woodland mansions.

๐Ÿ”จ Crafting Gift Boxes

You can also craft your own Gift Box instead of relying on finding them in structures.

The Gift Box Recipe showcases a 3x3 crafting grid with a dropper in the center surrounded by eight amethyst shards.

โ™ป Recycling

Recycle any any extra plushies you have into a Gift Box by placing them in the crafting grid!

A shapeless crafting recipe that outputs one gift box. The input is four plushies of any kind.

๐Ÿฉน Repairing Plushies

Craft two of the same plushies to repair it.

Two damaged Fluttershy Plushies in a 2x2 crafting grid outputs a Fluttershy Plushie with improved durability.

You can also use anvils. Anvils allow for the use of any kind of wool!

An anvil repair recipe with a damaged Rarity Plushie as the first item. The repair ingredient cycles between a damaged Rarity Plushie and Lime Green Wool.

๐Ÿ”ง Configuration

Configure the mod by editing the config/mylittleplushie-config.properties file.

  • Enable/Disable hug effects
  • Adjust hug effect duration and power
  • Adjust plushie durability

If the config changes in future versions, you may need to delete the config to allow the mod to regenerate a new file the next time you start the game.

You can also do this to reset the config if necessary.
