MyChatEmotes
MyChatEmotes adds custom Twitch/Discord-style :shortcode: emotes to Minecraft chat - the server owner drops in images and every player with the mod auto-downloads and renders them inline. One vanilla-safe Fabric jar, with an in-game picker and live sync.

Compatibility
Changes
MyChatEmotes 0.1.0 - First release
Initial public release. Custom Twitch/Discord-style :shortcode: emotes in Minecraft chat, hosted by the server and auto-synced to clients.
Features
- Inline emotes - type
:shortcode:and it renders as an image right in chat, laid out and wrapped by vanilla so it scrolls and screenshots cleanly. - Jumbo emotes - a message that is only emotes renders them large, Discord-style.
- In-game picker - a chat-screen button opens a tabbed grid (one tab per pack) to browse and insert emotes.
:autocomplete - start typing a shortcode and a suggestion popup appears over the chat input.- Animated GIF emotes - animated emotes play inline, in the picker, and jumbo.
- Server-hosted, auto-synced - the server streams emotes to clients on join; they cache to disk so each one downloads only once.
- Live uploads - drop new images into the emote folder and they push to online players instantly, no restart or relog.
- Per-server scoping - each server's emotes are cached separately and cleared on disconnect, so emotes never leak between servers.
- Vanilla-safe - clients without the mod can still join; they just see the plain
:shortcode:text.
Setup
Server owners drop images into the Server_Emotes/ folder (each subfolder becomes a pack; the filename is the shortcode). Requires Fabric API. Minecraft 26.2.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
