About the mod
NeoCrafts is a simple mod that adds missing recipes from the game, including bulk crafting in order to save time, porting new recipes (name tags, saddles) into 1.21.1 or for example duplicating pottery sherds. All newly added recipes are balanced. This mod is ideal for people that like vanilla because it adds literally zero custom items or anything other than the new recipes, and it also doesn't add overpowered recipes like god apples or totems.
What does it add?
You can find examples in the Gallery tab.
Bulk crafting
Bulk crafting of sticks, chests, barrels, chains, cauldrons etc. in order to save time when crafting a lot of those items at once while keeping the cost per item the same.Uncrafting
You can now uncraft blocks like bricks, snow, quartz etc. back into their respective materials.Bulk smelting/blasting
The mod adds the ability to smelt raw ore blocks directly into the smelted block variants, for example a block of raw iron into an iron block. This process awards the same amount of XP as if you smelted the items individually and only takes twice as long as smelting one item (20 seconds in a furnace and 10 seconds in a blast furnace per block)Sherd duping
This one is pretty self explanatory, just like how you can duplicate armor trims, you're now able to duplicate pottery sherds using four bricks.Ports of new recipes
In recent updates, some previously uncraftable items like name tags and saddles were finally given recipes and this mod ports them to 1.21.1.Anvil repairs
You can now repair an anvil in a crafting table, using 3 iron ingots per damaged tier (so 3 ingots to repair a chipped anvil and 6 ingots to repair a damaged anvil or 3 ingots to convert the damaged anvil into a chipped anvil)Less output
You can now use only 3 iron ingots to craft 8 iron bars and 3 glass blocks to craft 8 glass panes (this does not include stained glass panes as you can already make 8 of those using a vanilla recipe)...and more to come!
Will you ever update this to a different platform/version?
I currently plan on staying on NeoForge 1.21.1. I most likely won't make a version for a different platform, but I might update the version if 1.21.1 becomes too outdated.
