🎴 New Better Dropped Items

New Better Dropped Items is a mod that replaces Minecraft's default ground drop rendering with a card-style display. All block drops are shown on the ground as cards, making them more noticeable and easier to read for a better gameplay experience.

🔗 Dependencies

  • ⚙️ Optional: Mod Menu (for accessing the options menu)

✨ Features

  1. 🃏 All block drops are displayed on the ground as cards
  2. 🎨 Highly customizable rendering. You can:
  • 🧭 Adjust the initial orientation of items
  • 🔄 Adjust the rotation speed of items
  • 📚 Toggle 2D neat stacking of items
  • 🐞 Toggle debug mode
  • 👀 Only changes visual display; does not affect drop rates, pickup, inventory contents, or other gameplay mechanics
  • 💻 Client-side mod; visual changes only

  • 📜 The original Better Dropped Items was made by cbtc-59, and its updates stopped at Minecraft 1.19.2.

  • 💡 Although there are already some similar alternative mods on the market, I personally really like this project and don't want it to stop being updated. So I (xingmeng_520) decided to take over, continue maintaining and updating it on the original basis, and renamed it to New Better Dropped Items.

  • ⚠️ Please note: I have no connection with the original author cbtc-59. This mod is not an official sequel, nor has it been authorized by the original author. It is released only for personal maintenance and continued use.

🐞 Debug Mode

Debug mode is used for development and troubleshooting. It can help check how cards are rendered and diagnose visual issues. Regular players do not need to enable it.
