Changelog
Tortoises:
- A new animal living in underground burrows, hates whatever disturbs its peace, and prefers avoiding conflict by hiding in its shell
- When bred with Beetroot, will look for a dark spot without skylight, and lay its eggs there. These eggs will take a while to hatch, so take good care of them!
- When a baby tortoise grows up, it will shed part of its Sturdy Scute, which can be used to craft a Tortoise Shell. This new chestplate will slow you down, make you immune to knockback, and act like a shield on your back. Don't like its look? Try putting it in a Styling Table from Vanity!
Geese:
- The goose, bully of the wetlands, is here. This highly confrontational and rude bird is... not great company.
- It will threaten any player nearby, especially if they're holding their favorite food: pumpkin seeds
- When hit, will do its best to make you pay for it. If it finds its strength lacking, it will run away.
- Loves playing around in water!
- When killed, will drop a lot of feathers. Not that we're encouraging that, of course. But you know, accidents happen...
New and Revamped Biomes:
- The prairie is a new, warm plainslike biome - with large amounts of horses, cows, and varied foliage. Often found between Plains and Savannas, is quite a homely place for a homestead or a ranch.
- The Lavender Fields are a new variant of Meadows. More densely wooded, and fully covered by beautiful Lavender Bushes. Ideal for relaxing walks in the hills.
- The Old Growth Birch Forest is now golden, and full of bees. Check it out yourself, it really is golden.
- The Forest's colors have been recalibrated, to look much more appealing and less unnaturally vibrant
General Surface Tweaks:
- The world will now contain Crags, large rocks sticking out of the terrain. They tend to clump near eachother, and will add back some of that beloved alpha-era looking terrain.
- Gravel Shores will now line most bodies of water in temperate and colder biomes.
- Mud shores will now line most swampy bodies of water.
- Mushroom Fields now have a Silt shoreline.
River and Beach Biomes:
- Frozen Shores are a frozen variant of Stony Shores
- Tropical Beaches will line the Jungles, ideal for building a Bamboo Hut and enjoying a vacation
- Mud Beaches will separate Swampy biomes from the Ocean, providing an unusual and fascinating shoreline.
- Lush Rivers will flow through Jungles, containing Pink Dolphins and Flamingo Geese.
- Blackwater Rivers will flow through Swampy biomes, being a great place to find Billhook Bass and Mangroves.
- Desert Rivers will flow through Deserts, sometimes bringing some greenery to the wastelands.
New, Mysterious Items:
- Some items will be found in the creative inventory, I wonder where they're found?
- Living Urns have been seen being smuggled around villages, a merchant once told me he grabbed them from the trap-filled depths of a pyramid, and another said some ruins in the Jungle had weird, "face-having pots"
- Ancient Bronze Masks have been spoken of in old tales, yet finding an intact one seems impossible.
Mod Integration:
- Nirvana has a new type of Joint, a throwable and explosive one, used to craft THC. A consistency piece, that adds a fun, nom-violent new way to distribute peace.
- EveryCompat now has integration with our Bookshelves and Trimmed Planks! Big thanks to @felixe_ for this!
Miscellaneous
- Some unobtainable stuff, such as Mooses and Rose Vines, are in the creative inventory. Feel free to play with them, but don't report any bugs about them, they're unfinished.
- Some new mob variants, such as fully-black chickens, are now roaming through the scariest biomes.
- Many rebalancing and feature-distribution tweaks, the world should feel and look much better than usual
- Added Herobrine
