🚀 Nova's Teams 1.21.1-Fabric — Major Update
🪟 Party Menu (O key)
- Redesigned Party Menu: Added a complete interface featuring a player list, party roster, and invitations tab[cite: 1].
- Search & Scrolling: Integrated player search functionality and scrollable lists[cite: 1].
- Pending Request Badge: Added a notification badge on the "Invitations" button when there are pending requests[cite: 1].
- Auto-Party Creation: Inviting a player while not in a party automatically creates one and sends the invite[cite: 1].
- Organized Player Lists: Ungrouped players appear at the top; the "Already in a party" section lists parties alphabetically by their leader, wrapped in visual brackets
⌈⌋[cite: 1]. - Self-Representation: In your own party, you appear gray with a
(You)tag and no extra action buttons[cite: 1]. - Action Confirmations: Added a secondary-click confirmation requirement for kicking members and disbanding the party[cite: 1].
- Member Counters & Actions: Added a member count indicator (
N/max) and interactive member actions including private messages, duels, teleportation (requires server cheats and operator permissions), color changes, and click-to-copy usernames[cite: 1].
📊 Party HUD
- Compact Roster Panels: Party roster panels have been made more compact with fixed widths[cite: 1].
- Distance Tracking: Teammate distance is now displayed as a clean number next to their name (e.g.,
21mor1.2k)[cite: 1]. - Truncated Usernames: Long usernames are truncated with
..; hovering reveals the full name, and clicking any nickname instantly copies it to your clipboard[cite: 1]. - Synchronized Status: Teammate status effects and HP bar colors remain fully in sync[cite: 1].
- Dimension Icons & Tooltips: Teammates in other dimensions display specific icons (Overworld, Nether, End, or colored shulker boxes for modded dimensions) accompanied by a dimension-name tooltip[cite: 1].
- Improved Offline Status: Introduced a new offline portrait (light-grey Steve); offline player panels no longer expand on hover[cite: 1].
- Leader Crown & HP Bar: The leader's crown inherits the portrait border color, and HP bars fill the content column cleanly[cite: 1].
⚔️ Smart 1v1 Duels
- Strict Challenge Rules: Challenges can only be initiated within a 15-block radius and within the same dimension[cite: 1].
- Arena Generation: Upon acceptance, a circular arena with a 10-block radius is created between the players[cite: 1].
- Boundary Walls: A semi-transparent red boundary wall encloses the arena[cite: 1].
- Defeat Condition: Stepping outside the boundary (even during the 3-2-1 countdown) counts as an automatic loss[cite: 1].
- Reliability Checks: Implemented more reliable checks upon accepting challenges and when a challenger disconnects[cite: 1].
🛠️ Fixes & Stability
- Restricted Teleportation: Teleporting to a teammate is now strictly limited to instances where cheats and commands are actually available on the server[cite: 1].
- Network & Data Cleanup: Ensured more stable network packets and reliable client-side party data cleanup on leave/disconnect[cite: 1].
- Dimension Marker Filtering: Ally markers no longer render for players located in a different dimension[cite: 1].
- Crash & Render Fixes: Fixed depth-sorting issues for players on rings, and resolved server crashes related to
BEFORE_ENTITIESand malformed C2S packets[cite: 1]. - Full Localization: Added comprehensive Russian and English localization (~90 keys total)[cite: 1].

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
