- Instill Psyche, a new great spell that reverses mind flaying, at the cost of turning villagers into nitwits.
- Homeland Reflection and Inferno Reflection, patterns that return spatial imprints for the overworld and the nether, respectively. Both of these can be independently disabled in config for modpacks where reaching these dimensions is supposed to be non-trivial.
- Bug fixes
Budding Pseudoamethyst now produces Pseudoamethyst Clusters when in the Noosphere, which can drop Shifting Pseudoamethyst, an ingredient in a few tweaked recipes.
The Hexcaster's Hoverlift, which propels you along an axis between paired blocks. Has been incorporated into the Noosphere tower structure.
A new structure in the Noosphere with overworld plants and animals.
Islands in the Noosphere now have a chance to spawn with Edified Trees on them.
Conductor's Reflection, a pattern which returns whether you're currently casting from a reverberation rod.
- Migrated several features less related to the Noosphere into Ephemera, a new addon I'm releasing alongside this (I strongly recommend you download that as well, in order to minimize disruption to your save)
- Fixed a major bug that prevented you from joining servers
- Added the Wisp Weaver, a block which consumes media to spawn wandering wisps, as well as a decorative version which does not consume media (and its wisps yield net-zero media)
- Added the Wisp Wranger, an item with which you can capture cyclic or projectile wisps for later release.
Disables several broken mixins that I neglected to test outside of the dev environment. The following features will be broken until I can figure out how fix them:
- using Media Infusion to make Chorus plants never die
- the ambit component of Uplifting Resonance (the glow component is also broken, but I've made the spell apply normal Glowing as well)
- the Media Cube will not give you the advancements associated with my new lore item
- the Echo Staff and the Magitech Staff will play the normal grid reset sound in addition to the special ones I picked for them
- Williams' Reflection and Gambit, patterns to allow you to store a non-list iota in the reverberation rod for future cast iterations (vanishes when loop ends)
- Soulprints, a way to sign items, and also a valid Idea Inscription key
- Entropy Reflection II, uses a gaussian distribution
- Scout's Exaltation, an entity raycast that takes a whitelist of entitytypes that it can hit
- Blobs of special ice and slime scattered around the noosphere
- Two structures that generate in the noosphere, one of which has loot chests with a new form of lore note (and also the base hex one)
- Bug Fixes
Additions:
- Patterns to get information about Idea Inscription entries
- Particle Burst spell
- The Echo Staff, a cosmetic staff variant that makes sculk sounds
- Being in the Noosphere or near a Noosphere Gateway now reduces a wisp's base upkeep to zero
- The Sentinel Sensor, a redstone block that senses nearby sentinels and outputs a signal based on proximity
- The Seer Impetus, a spell circle impetus that activates when someone puts their sentinel near it
- A pattern to detect how far from a given point a given player's sentinel is
- Stealth Shroud, a spell that makes an entity temporarily immune to detection via raycast or zone distillation - and also a pattern that points the direction towards nearby shrouded entities
- Hidden Sun's Zenith - Applies Invisibility to a target entity
- Blocks which cause raycasts that hit or pass through them to return NULL
- Status effect iotas, and associated patterns - including a spell to remove a specific effect from an entity
- Mind Render, a weapon enchantment that inflicts small amount of unblockable damage on targets
- Echo, Noosphere, and Flame pigments
Changes:
- The Reverberation rod is now far quieter, and has an animation while casting
- The Inexhaustible Phial no longer updates its NBT every tick, and thus is now actually visible in first-person
- Whether Noetic Gateway allows you to target other players is now configurable
- The lifetime of Idea Inscription entries is now configurable, between 1 tick and 1 week (default is still one hour)
- Pseudoamethyst Shards can now be used in the initialization of media batteries (phials, trinkets, etc.)
Bug fix:
- Inscribe Idea no longer allows you to save iotas that would be too big to put in a focus
- Idea Inscription - Record iotas to positions in the world for truly global data storage - be careful, recorded iotas decay after an hour
- Inexhaustible Phial - A phial that can never be depleted, but only provides 1/10 of a dust per pattern - stacks logarithmically, so you can't just use 20 of them and get almost everything free
- Item Frame Patterns - A pair of patterns that let you get and set an item frame's rotation
- Encore - A pattern for the Reverberation Rod that lets you reset its initial state with reduced cooldown
- Budding Pseudoamethyst - Like Budding Amethyst, but faster and more expensive
