PackFixer is an independent client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.1.2 that improves compatibility with legacy and modern resource packs.

It supports common OptiFine CIT item and armor rules, legacy armor texture paths, custom sky properties, FabricSkyBoxes-style sky files, and common Variants-CIT modules.

PackFixer is a standalone implementation and does not require CIT Resewn, Variants-CIT, Skyboxify, or Fabric API.

Requirements:

  • Minecraft 26.1.2
  • Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
  • Java 25 or newer
  • Client-side only
