Pale Oak Backport brings the Pale Oak wood set and a rare Pale Oak Forest biome to Minecraft 1.21.1 Fabric — and nothing else from the Pale Garden update.
No Creaking. No Pale Moss. No Resin. No Eyeblossom. Just the wood, the trees, and one quiet forest to find them in.
Features
Pale Oak wood set
- Log / Stripped Log / Wood / Stripped Wood
- Planks, Stairs, Slab, Fence, Fence Gate
- Door, Trapdoor, Pressure Plate, Button
- Sign & Hanging Sign
- Boat & Boat with Chest
- Sapling, Potted Sapling, Leaves
Matches oak behavior for hardness, flammability, fuel, composting, axe stripping, and leaf decay.
Growing trees
- 1 sapling → normal Pale Oak (rare fancy variant)
- 2×2 saplings → large Pale Oak (Dark Oak–style)
- Bone meal works as in vanilla
Pale Oak Forest
An extremely rare Overworld biome — the only natural source of Pale Oak trees.
- Normal terrain, caves, ores, and rivers
- Forest-density Pale Oak trees
- Tall grass, ferns, and vanilla flowers
- Sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, rabbits + normal hostile mobs
- Slightly desaturated grass & foliage
- Vanilla sky, fog, and water
