ParryStyles adds Parry to the style of different inspirations such as Street Fighter and Ultrakill, allowing players to block, reflect and counter both physical attacks and projectiles
How many styles are there?
Currently, it only has two styles, which are references to the games they come from: Street Fighter 3rd Strike and Ultrakill
The Street Fighter style can parry almost everything and is also compatible with various mods as long as they use the same damage as in vanilla Java (and I mean almost everything, even fall damage)
The Ultrakill style can only parry physical damage and projectiles, but with some advantages. When parrying physical damage, you heal 2 hearts and reflect double the damage. When parrying a projectile, you reflect double the speed and damage. The Ultrakill style also has self-parry (like in the game, you can parry your own bullets, in this case, arrows)
This is compatible with other Mods?
Yes, from what I see, most do, but not all; not everyone uses the Vanilla/Forge code
How do I change styles?
By default everyone has Street Fighter, but you can use /parrystyle to see your current style, and /parrystyle (style) to choose either of the 2 styles. The command can be used by all users without needing /op
Why did I make this mod?
A group of friends and I wanted to use a parry mod in Minecraft, but there weren't any for older versions or for more arcade-style gameplay. That's why I started with Street Fighter, and another friend suggested Ultrakill xd
Does it work in LAN/Multiplayer?
Yes, it works perfectly in multiplayer
It still has bugs, so I welcome any helpful suggestions
