A full 360 degree turn of the camera around a standing player
Free look in motion. The key is held down and the camera sweeps all the way around while the character keeps facing the same direction the whole time.

The camera sits in front and to the side, so the character's face is in frame while they still look off towards the horizon. Vanilla only offers the view from directly behind or directly in front.

The camera has been turned a quarter circle on its own. Without the mod the third person camera is locked to the direction the character faces, so this angle cannot be held.
Looking down from above while the player keeps looking level
Camera pitch is free of the character's, so the view can drop onto the player from overhead while they carry on looking straight ahead at the horizon.

The same freedom the other way round: a low angle looking up, with the character's own view untouched.
