The wait is over: a version of PlusTiC is finally available for a newer version of Minecraft!
This release is a very early build, and it includes only a small set of features for testing purposes. More features will be ported in the future; this release is intended to collect user feedback.
In this version, the "Gems" and "GemsPlus" modules were added, which includes support for the gems introduced by Project Red and GemsPlusPlus. (Note: in the original PlusTiC, these modules also included support for certain gems added in Biomes o' Plenty; the gems had been removed from Biomes o' Plenty, so they were not ported over.)
Known Issues:
- Most of the modifiers (traits) have been implemented only in name, but the effects have not been ported.
- The handle material stats are not yet balanced, as Tinkers' Construct 3 changed the stats system. (Help wanted!)
- The textures of materials have a low contrast, making the edges hard to see
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
