PM PHYSICS – Physics & Environmental Realism Mod
PM PHYSICS is a Minecraft mod designed to make the world feel more alive, realistic, and immersive by introducing dynamic environmental physics and weather interactions to pmweather.
The mod adds several realistic environmental effects:
1. Dynamic Ocean Waves
- Animated ocean waves that respond to wind intensity.
- Calm water during peaceful weather and larger, rougher waves during storms.
- Boat wakes and water spray.
- Waves crashing against cliffs with splashes and foam.
- Sunlight reflections and wave glint.
- Smooth wave transitions near shorelines.
2. Wind Physics
- Strong winds physically affect doors, trapdoors, and fence gates.
- Grass, flowers, crops, vines, and leaves sway with the wind.
- Banners, hanging signs, chains, lanterns, bells, and other hanging blocks swing during windy weather.
3. Tornado Physics
- Boats can be lifted and visually spun around inside tornadoes.
- Minecarts can also be lifted and thrown into tornado-like orbital motion.
- Tornado interactions are driven by PMWeather when installed.
4. Realistic Fire and Smoke
- Fire and campfire smoke drift according to wind direction.
- Rain produces visual steam when it reaches exposed fires and campfires.
5. Rain Puddles
- Rain creates shallow, connected puddles on solid ground.
- Puddles dynamically grow while it rains.
6. Custom Configuration Menu
- Dedicated settings menu with Performance, Visuals, Effects, Design, Fire, Puddles, and Developer tabs.
- Adjustable wave intensity, wind effects, particle density, rendering distance, and more.
- Customizable interface accent colours and panel opacity.
- Changes can be applied live and saved.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1+
- Compatible with PMWeather for enhanced wind, storms, and tornado interactions.
- Optional Sodium integration.
Overall Goal: PM PHYSICS aims to transform ordinary Minecraft environments into dynamic worlds where oceans, wind, storms, vegetation, fire, and structures react naturally to changing weather conditions.
